sayyour-prayersâ:
Oliver was happy, taking the coffee from him. There was something about the warmth in his hand, and the smell which just did something to him. He shifted his shoulders, still standing at the counter before taking a nice sip of his coffee. He shot a judgmental glare at Kayonâs weird whipped cold drink. He knew how much of a coffee purist Oli was, the gross green colour was just undesirable. âOkay. Letâs get a Cage some kind of whatever. And I should get something for dinner tonight.â Living alone was hard, most days he would just try to convince one of the boys to let him stay for a meal. âI want some kind of wrap thing. Thatâs an easy cook, right?â
Kayson loved his mint drink, he got every day and sometimes heâd even get an extra big cup of it. Of course it had three shots of espresso in it, but itâs the mint flavor that he loves. Seeing the look from Oli though earns an eyeroll from Kayson, taking an extra long drink through his straw. âHats, Oli, weâre getting Cage some hats. Duh you have to eat.â Kayson murmurs, hooking his arm with Oliverâs again. He hums and thinks for a few moments, thinking. âAfter weâre done shopping...maybe we could go to the diner and get some food? Or we can go back to my place and Iâll make us whatever you want?â Kayson didnât really mind having Oliver over for dinner, it was better than eating alone.Â
sayyour-prayersâ:
Oli just smiled. He wasnât going to continue arguing, though it was just lovingly. The smell of coffee had him whip his head to take a look in that direction, walking without even saying a work but instead just pulling Kayson along by their intertwined hands. This was a kind of cutesy behavior that he would reserve for two of his bestest friends. It stayed between them, and he would always deny it anyone ever asked. He didnât mind playing the role of boyfriend, but beyond conceivable for it to be real. âIn here - now.â There was a silent please that maybe hung between them. âJust black. A large, donât cheap out on me.â
Kayson loved having fun, he was just a bubbly type of person. He had to admit though, the sound of coffee and the smell of it did sound really good to him right now. Giggling at being pulled along, Kayson swears that Oliver was like a child when it came to coffee. Looking at the other and shaking his head in amusement, he smiles at their hands and gives Oliverâs a light squeeze when they arrive. âYeah, yeah I wonât cheap out on you.â He chuckles, fingers going through his bright purple hair. Going to the counter and ordering Oliverâs coffee along with his mint Mocha frozen frap. Bringing it back to Oliver, holding the coffee out for the other and taking a drink of his own. âHere here, you happy now?â
sayyour-prayersâ:
âNice and treating you like a puppy are very different.â Oliver had no issue teasing him back, and if anything it was how he showed his affection. It was still giving him attention, and almost in a lovingly. Though, he wasnât vocal about that love. He didnât need to be though, as the boys just knew it by the way he teased them carefully. âAre you just rolling in cash nowadays?â He raised his brow, looking over at Kayson. He wasnât dressed particularly richly. âEnough for your sap, coffee. In my mouth. Instantly.â
âAlways so mean to me, and iâm always so nice to you.â He teases, sticking his tongue out at the other playfully. Kayson was so used to Oliverâs ways by now. He loved Cage and Oliver equally, even though he was much more psycial with Oli than with Cage. âShush. I booked a nice gig, and got paid pretty good for it.â He shrugs at the question, rolling his eyes and walking down the sidewalk. âSo damn rude. Alright weâre almost there, grinch. Thatâs what i get for trying to be cute.â
sayyour-prayersâ:
âYou know I will never treat you the same way he does.â Cage was soft, and heâd clearly been shaped by the reality of life instead of toughened like Oliver had. He was sure it was nice to be like hat, enjoy every flower you walked by but Oli didnât have time for that. He just grazed elbows with the thorns as a acknowledgement. âWhy are we buying something for Cage? It isnât his birthday, right?â Oli knew he would probably forget that, he relied on either of the friends to remind him of the other persons birthday. âWe are going to be out all day, I can just imagine.â He didnât mind the arm contact.
âI know, heâs actually nice to me.â Kayson teases, not being mean about it. He knows by now how Cage and Oliver were, they were both completely opposite of each other and Kayson was smack dab in the middle of them. He chuckles and shakes his head at the question. âNah, itâs not his birthday. Buying him new hats because he likes them. He buys everyone else things but never really gets stuff in return. Like to surprise him once in awhile.â Kayson chuckles, hooking an arm with Oliver being nodding a few times. âYes, we are. But I promise to make it worth it.â

sayyour-prayersâ:
âHey - donât start with that.â He hated when Kayson acted like a kicked puppy, it was a tactic that made him feel guilty and maybe it worked - Oli hate feeling that way, when in his mind he did nothing wrong. âLetâs just get some coffee, please.â He grabbed Kaysonâs hand a moment, squeezing playfully, he walked like that before letting go to focus on opening the door to the comic book store. he waved at his coworker, pushing his chair in to rest against the near by wall then walking out. âOkay, now we can go do your shopping you poor little puppy.â He teased. There was a quality to Oliver, that made you feel uncertain if he was teasing you cause he was mean, or cause he loved you.Â
âI have to because you donât spoil me like Cage does.â He points out softly, eyes going over to Oliver. He came to learn the otherâs ways by now so he didnât take most things Oliver said to heart. Kayson nods and hums a little bit to himself, eyes going around the site one more time before following Oliver through the shop. âLetâs go to that one store with all those hats! Cage always wants new hats. Oh and maybe some more art for my place because I do need some more.â So what, Kayson might of been slightly addicted to art. He pouts before trying to hook his arm with Oliverâs, beaming over at the other.Â
sayyour-prayersâ:
âOh my god -â Oliver grabbed his back from under his chair, turning off his camera. He was careful to put it in the protected bag, then putting that and the tripod in there too. âCan you spare me the water works? Not all of us can just do whatever we want all day.â He slung the bag over his shoulder, then bunching up his chair. âLetâs just drop off my chair at the store and we will go. Okay, baby?â He cooed childishly at him. He was a little bit of a hard-ass, though his closest friends knew it was all in good spirit. âYou can get me some coffee, too.â
Kayson watches Oli carefully, arching an eyebrow and sighing shortly after. He didnât want to make the other mad at him because then it wouldnât be fun for either of them. âHey, donât be mean, Oli. I just got overly excited.â He mumbles, chewing his lip before putting his snapback hat back on. Nodding slowly at the otherâs idea, hands going into his pocket. âOkay, and yeah Iâll you some coffee. Iâm sorry for being a nagging brat.â Kayson murmurs, grabbing his bottle of water before humming a little bit to himself. âPromise next time you gotta work I wonât nag you about it.â
sayyour-prayersâ:
Oliver looked over at him. He had been filming for a few hours, but in timelapse that made about thirty seconds. He was supposed to work today, but it was hard to separate the man and the camera that was permanently in his palm. âWhat else could you possibly need that you donât already have?â He turned away from him, making sure his shot was clear once more to capture everyone walking by. âLike five more minutes, please - if it wonât kill you.â He hunched back over to look at the camera screen. âYou know a puppy dog look doesnât work on my cold heart.â
Kayson was trying his best to not be bouncing off the walls right now but it was hard. Especially watching Oliver because he wasnât really doing anything. He knows how Oli is though and sometimes that was a little bit annoying sometimes. âI wanna get Cage a new hat, and hm maybe me some new clothes. Oh oh and some new art work for my place.â Kayson rambles, moving to stand next to Oliver now so heâs completely out of the way. âYup itâs gonna kill me, thatâs gonna be the cause of my death.â He pouts a little bit more and even lets out a soft whine for affect. âOli, pretty please. Weâve been here forever now.â
sayyour-prayersâ:
âDo you mind?â Oli leaned as he watched his carefully set up camera filming the busy market street. The road was rather crowded, but Oliver had his chair parked in the middle as he time lapsed the people walking by the early morning. âYouâve been standing directly in my shot for like five minutes.â He kicked his legs out ahead of him as he reclined further in his chair. Heâd been trying to film something for the comic book store and helped managed their social media. âSo if you could scoot a bit -â
âI mind most times.â He teases, eyes scanning people on the street. It was fun people watching, but not in the creepy way though. Now Kayson needed to decide which place he wanted to go into next, thereâs so many options and he was like a kid in a candy store right now. âWell Oli, maybe your shot is just in my way.â He jokes, but moves over anyways out of the cameraâs view and making a face at Oliver now. âDude are you almost done? I need someone to go shopping with me and Cage is busy right now.â Now thereâs a pout on his lips as he looks around again. âPlease Oli.â
