I understand why I always blame myself. Because I know what it feels like to be let down, used, trampled on, and left behind. It hurts. Much worse than I care to admit. And the sad part is… I would rather take the blame and be hurt than stand up for myself and allow someone else to experience the pain I feel. No matter how many times I have to do it. I will always take the pain, so you don’t have to. I wish you could see that. I wish you knew how many times I’ve wanted to break in front of you. I wish you knew how much you really mean to me. But the one thing I do not wish is that you understand what I’m going through. I don’t wish this never ending battle upon anyone. I’ll keep fighting as long as I can, but love, just know I can only fight for so long. It seems like each battle gets harder.
