An idea I had for a reoccurring theme throughout the movie was black ice.  The protagonist’s parents died by a car accident and drowning.  The icy black water that swallowed them continues to haunt her still.  Her parent’s gravestone sits in a flooded, icy bog. It turns out they were murdered by the antagonists, so there is black water present at their golf course too.

Have you ever wondered how Wonder Woman came to be? This book introduces her creators and the women who helped shape her to be the icon we know today.

All the women I paint have an axe to grind.
