isn’t it insanely fucking wild how our entire way of living changed in just a couple of weeks. like. worldwide? the entire world changed COMPLETELY in just weeks. did we ever even imagine that humanity could change so easily in the middle of crisis? we were always taught that global changes take time and are hard to achieve, and just like that, we’re all suddenly living in completely different conditions, our mindset has completely changed and we’ve created new habits in no time, have incorporated the words “quarantine” and “infection/infected” to our vocabulary and drop them in the regular without even noticing it. it’s incredible the way this virus has exposed that many, many of the worlds problems can be solved just that easily, and we’ve been lied to our whole lives just because the people in charge don’t care about them

jo march really was like. i love the people around me and i cannot cope with them leaving and being mature and appealing enough to start new chapters in their lives while i'm still clinging into this idealised, carefree, comedy-like lifestyle i thought was gonna last forever. and i really thought platonic relationships could replace my repressed longing for a romantic one but now all my loved ones' first priorities became romance. meanwhile i cannot put myself out seeking a romantic relationship because that would automatically mean altering, belittleing, objectifying and compromising myself, my life would become a cliche with guaranteed unhappy ending because i feel like no one in this world could truly make me happy. and i do want to embrace my independent, single lifestyle but i guess i didnt calculate back then how lonely it's going to feel. it's like my only choice is between two types of unhappiness. jo march conveyed all this stuff and i'm not supposed to tear up just thinking about that goddamn movie???

tbh as weird as Riverdale is no scene will ever be weirder than Archie and Veronica singing "All Around Me Are Familiar Faces" while Betty pole dances and strips in order to join a biker gang.

@ everyone i am begging you to please NEVER ever explain Riverdale to me because it is infinitely more entertaining for me to just occasionally hear random things that happened on the show and have zero context for them. i am greatly enjoying Riverdale this way, in fact, and i don’t want my experience of the show to be ruined by (a) actually watching it or (b) understanding what the fucketh is going on with it

one of my favorite more ridiculous parts of mamma mia is that like, before they get to the island and meet Sophie….Sam, Bill and Harry really, truly thought Donna had invited them there herself. They hadn’t spoken to this woman once in 20 years, but they honestly thought she sat down and went “Hmm, my daughter is getting married in three days, do you know what I need right now???? Some Dick™. And I know just who to call for it!” and then they all immediately dropped every thing and rushed over to Greece to see her. amazing.
