There are no words to express how disgusted, mortified, outraged, and furious I am to watch the video of the murder of George Floyd. A white man kneeling on the neck of a defenseless, restrained and unarmed black man while he begs for his life. A 10 minute execution video shot in broad daylight. Those not stepping in are as much to blame in the murder of George Floyd as the officers who committed this heinous act. Racism and murder of black people and POC has to STOP. It is our duty to stand up and say, "NO!" Say "NO!" to Amy Cooped weaponizing racism. Using the fear of police that black people have against him. The true victim of such weaponization, Christian Cooper. Stand-up and say "NO!" for Ahmaud Arbery who was gunned down while running in broad daylight by two white men. Stand-up and say "NO!" for Treyvon Martin, shot and killed because he was wearing a hoodie. Stand-up and say "NO!" for Stephon Clark who was shot and killed by two white officers while in his Grandma's backyard. He was holding a cell phone. Say "NO!" to the surmounting number of men, women and children of color who are being targeted and executed. Racism was never gone, we are just seeing the videos now.
