Holding the hot coffee in her hand, Salomé placed it and her laptop on the table in the spot where a guy got up from. Realizing the woman in front of her was still conversing, she waited a moment before putting in her headphones. She didn’t want to be rude. When the woman looked up, she smiled, “Yeah… he left a second ago. Lucky me, it wasn’t that hard to find a chair today…” Salomé opened up her laptop and nodded at the woman, “Sure, why not? Tell me why you won’t buy a black, white nor… candy apple red? Corolla.”
Katrina was oblivious to the fact that the other woman was trying to do something on her laptop. She said yes to hearing her speak all over again, and that was enough for her. “Awesome, okay. So, they’re loud. Of course there’s other loud cars, but these ones are annoying. The interiors look cheap, and newer models don’t have any USB ports in the back. Who doesn’t add lots of USB ports? Dodge Grand Caravans have them in the front, and several in the back. There’s even one in the dashboard glove compartment. And sure, the Corolla has decent trunk space, but does that really make up for it?” she asked. She didn’t even pause for a decent breath before continuing. “Black, white, and candy apple red are statistically some of the most used paint colours. People think they’re pretty, and shiny, and sleek. And since their start in 1966, the Corolla has sold over 45 million units worldwide. So basically, you combine that with the colours, and you’ve basically created one of the most boring, overdone cars out there right now.”
