Tonight i'm starting to forget the memories and feelings you used to make me feel Like the way you forget your first spoken word Or how your favorite childhood candy used to taste Tonight, as I was looking outside I heaved in the cold evening air Finding my strength and courage while I rummage through my things just to find your last remaining pieces in it for the last time- the last hope, the last try to feel you and me and what we used to be I let my tears roll down to my cheek for the last time as I whisper to myself that "its okay...its perfectly okay to let go now" In perfectly hushing calming comforting tone I could muster I looked at all the things, I looked at the box that contains everything you and I have collected And then, I looked at the moon I looked at the stars I looked upon the tall buildings on their way to reach the skies I gazed upon them until they all became meaningless I heaved in again the cold February air A sharp blunt realization hit me And suddenly all the music started to fail to play the same tune you and I made I looked at the box and I laid down to give myself a moment because tonight I am unclasping to the idea of what we used to be and tonight, as much as I want to liberate myself I dont wanna let go of the inevitable
