minjeong giggles, tucking her phone under her chin as she walks into the living room where jimin’s on the couch, already looking like she’s about to lose her mind.

“why not?” she pouts. “they’re mine. the marks. and the friends.”

jimin stares at her, visibly fighting for composure.

minjeong walks over, climbs into her lap without being asked. settles there like she belongs--which she does. her arms loop around jimin’s neck as she leans in, lips ghosting the corner of her mouth.

“i’m proud of them,” she says, softer now. her voice goes a little breathy. a little real. “i’m proud of you.”

jimin’s breath catches. her ears flush.

“i like when they can see i’m yours. i like it when it shows.”

there’s a pause. a shift. jimin’s hand finds her thigh.

“you really like them that much?”

minjeong nods, pupils big and dreamy. “mhm. maybe you should give me more.”

Jm that has to take care of everything about mj’s life bc her baby isn’t ready to tackle on anything by herself… she needs her unnie by her side, she gets nervous when she has to be alone… and jm loves being that over encompassing in her life😌

panics if she gets separated from jimin in public spaces. “where’s unnie?” is the #1 question if jimin’s not within arm’s reach.

clings to jimin’s arm while jimin pays bills, books appointments, plans meals. she just nods along and whispers, “thank you, unnie,” like jimin’s her whole world.

even in sleep, minjeong reaches for her. she doesn’t settle unless she’s touching jimin somehow.

and jimin Loves this.

she thrives off being in charge, off being the one who keeps minjeong grounded.

she wakes up earlier just to pack her baby’s bag for the day: snacks, water, a little note with a heart and her name.

if minjeong has a long day ahead, jimin voice messages her between breaks:

-“time for water, baby.”

-“eat your snack now. i put the one you like with the little almonds.”

-“you’re doing so well. i’m so proud of you.”

minjeong won't do basic tasks. not when jimin is around.

minjeong will hold her toothbrush but she won’t use it unless jimin’s standing beside her brushing too.

she stands still like a doll while jimin gets her dressed. jimin always kisses the tip of her nose after like, “there. now you’re perfect.”

can’t eat unless jimin sits with her, or better, feeds her a few bites. minjeong will go all day without realizing she’s hungry until jimin asks, “did you eat yet?”

and minjeong doesn't do this on purpose. she’s not lazy. she’s just… not ready to handle life on her own sometimes.

and jimin doesn’t just understand that— she relies on it.

jimin wants to be her everything. her stability. her safety. her anchor.

jm being obsessed with how small mj is 🫠

she always touches mj randomly, encircling her entire wrist with one hand or grabbing her waist on either side to see if her thumbs meet (they do)… she does it off-camera or the staff edits it out (bc it’s uncomfortable to watch), but we get glimpses of it on stage or randomly in behind videos like this

and the way she does it in front of the staff and other members is *always* awkward, because it’s easy to know exactly what she’s thinking about… while mj is none the wiser, adorably clueless.

jm loves to do it in bed, squeezing mj’s waist until her thumbs meet at the navel while she’s strapping her, or grabbing her legs and ankles and seeing how easily they bruise. it’s always a pain in the ass for the MUAs to hide the bruises whenever she’s styled with shorts or skirts, and they lowkey gossip about how jm seems kinda sleazy for letting her girl walk around like that (and for being that obvious in the first place)

the reason mj never really notices this obsession is because she’s half the time deliriously fucked out when jm does it in bed, and the other half, so used to the touch and the little bruises, doesn’t pay any mind to something that seems so mundane. and when jm vocalizes it, it always feels casual or mj is already used to those comments all her life. something like “you’re so small, minjeongie,” randomly, while they’re eating or just chatting, and then touching her waist to prove it; or something along the lines of, “she’s too small, i don’t think this will suit her,” to the stylist, while mj happens to overhear; “your waist looks tiny in this picture” (like that one video of her reacting to mj’s KGMA spark performance), and mj just takes it as a compliment. it’s painfully obvious to everyone but her.

…which is why she looks so clueless in the tweet. hehe

see to me 2022 is the year they start hooking up! their first kiss happened either in late 2021 or when they were trainees and they started to full on making out after their newyork trip. when turtlez get their own room while ningrina were still rooming together because their manager was staying with them, jm often sneaked up to mj's room and their makeout sessions always went one step ahead than the previous ones. also we know how into each other they were from moments like these

also i said this before im not sure if anyone remembers it but they fought like ppl that fuck. like are you telling me that two friends are fighting about how one is unromantic?? we still dont know the context of it too. so i think their first hookup happened before coachella(probably spring of 2022), they were loveydovey before going there too then something happened which lead to that arguement then it was resolved(if you looked at the thread i linked it on the previous ask you can see how jm gives in and trying to coax mj) but they made up without addressing the real issue. that summer was awkward in general and i think you can see it at the manager show. also that show is where aeri tells jm "you are not going to daydrink again are you?" so we know jm's alcoholism tendencies already started.

i think these unspoken feelings led to cracks in their relationship and there were times where they acted distant but it wasnt as noticable like 2023. so I think it went down like this: mj getting upset at jm, jm trying to coax her but when mj drags it out too long jm getting upset at mj. In august during smtown they seem close but I think they just made up with some unspoken words. real making up happened in paris after they went to see eiffel tower in casual clothes (all girls went out on "dates" but they took pics and were dressed up with bunch of staff aroun them. jmj's were more intimate imo.) then they were so so close when they were going back to korea you just know they fucked idc idc. their paris moments:
