“Whatever, Harley.” KJ rolled his eyes, “I’ll be in the library if you decide you’re done being pissy”.

“You could have asked me, too! It’s not the middle ages, y’know!” He said pointedly. “Yeah. She’s great. And she’s not ditzy, she’s getting some of he highest marks. Higher than you, even.”

“So you’d never cheat on me, but you think about someone else when we’re in bed.” She nodded before letting out an almost broken laugh. “I think I’d rather you were cheating. At least that wouldn’t hurt as much as knowing that you just don’t want to be with me.”

“Hey! That’s not fair. Of course I want to be with you.” He said, starting to pick up the defensive. “I can’t control what i say in my sleep. Just because I said her name doesn’t mean I don’t want to be with you.” He scoffed and rolled his eyes.

“You said her name last night. So who is she?” She wasn’t going to bother dancing around the subject. Luna should have known that something like this was going to happen. She’d gotten too comfortable with Pete and it all came crashing down around her. 

“She’s an ex. I’m not cheating on you. I would never cheat on you.” Pete tried to find the words to make this okay, but the lack of cheating could only bring very little solace. It was clear he still had feelings for Addy, though. He rubbed the back of his neck and looked at her with kind eyes, “I’m sorry, Luna”.

    ‘ we all know freddie has more priority of using me for his homework than everyone else does. look, KJ, she won’t think your dumb - she might even find it cute. ‘

KJ let out a deep drawn sigh, “And here I thought you loved me. I guess not” He dramatically put the back of his hand to his forehead and arched back so his head was on Lilia’s shoulder, “What ever am I to do?”
