So since September 2015, I decided to properly lose weight because I was nearly going into size 18 which I have never been before and couldn’t fit into anything apart from baggy tops and stretchy leggings and I felt horrendous looking at my body. Since then I have lost a stone a half from eating healthy, being on my feet all day at placement and going to zumba twice a week at the gym I go to. To be honest, I haven’t really seen much difference in my body but I get compliments from people I know saying they have seen a big difference in me. I know I have lost weight due to the scales and the fact that I am fitting back into my smaller clothes and still have room left when wearing them. However, I started looking at slimming world due to a friend of mine who uses slimming world has got down from a size 16 to a size 8 and looks amazing. Slimming world is more a healthy eating plan than a diet where you starve yourself and can’t eat anymore when you’ve finished the small meal you have eaten. It looks amazing and they give you so many healthy recipes that I could eat forever as well many sucessful weight loss stories which helps motivate you further. So I have decided to join the bandwagon as well to keep me going, so I will keep you updated on how that is all going. I’m very excited to start! xx

Christmas is always my favourite time of the year, more the lead up to it rather than Christmas day. I didn’t really get to enjoy the build up to Christmas as I usually do by listening to Christmas songs or puttting up the Christmas tree which is my favourite part. This was due to be being on placement through December apart from this past week and next week and being generally too busy to do those things. However, this last week has been lovely, I made gingerbread biscuits for the first time and they actually taste amazing, I bought my first Christmas jumper (how I’ve never had one before baffles me) which is adorable and I was spoilt rotton by my family, friends with many gifts that I love so much and I am very grateful for. The only crappy part was not really being able to scoff on all the Christmas food my mum had over stocked on because I am currently losing weight (I have already lost a stone and a half!!) so I was very good but a bit grumpy. I hope everyone else’s Christmases were wounderful and brought you happiness :) xx
