It was hard to admit, but Seungmin thought that his parents were probably just glad that he’d made a friend. Seungmin didn’t mind that he didn’t have a lot of friends. Most of the things that he liked to do were solo activities anyway. Early on, he had refused to change himself just to befriend someone. His elementary school teachers called him ‘too stubborn’ more than once. Other kids had called him a ‘smartass’ and a ‘know-it-all,’ but he didn’t care. He wouldn’t say that he was arrogant, but he refused to dumb himself down for anyone. He was smart and he knew it. And weirdly, Jisung didn’t seem to mind. Jisung didn’t roll his eyes and wave him off when he tried to share his knowledge with him, and Jisung himself wasn’t stupid, even though he called himself that all the time. Sure, his grades were lacking and he didn’t read a lot of books, but whenever someone talked, Jisung tried his best to listen and absorb new information. It was fun to talk to him, even if he was so different from Seungmin. Where Seungmin was neat, Jisung was messy. When Seungmin was too serious, Jisung was silly. When Seungmin seemed a little cold, Jisung was compassionate. Sure, Jisung had taken a while to warm up to him, but after he did, Seungmin felt like he had found his first real friend. He hadn’t even realized what he was missing out on by having a friend.

He found himself in a hall filled with multiple large vats that were attached to some kind of machinery with big rollers. Some tools were scattered around abandoned on small tables and the floor. Plants were growing through a high up window and small cracks in the wall. How did he get here? When he tried to concentrate and think about it, his head only started pounding worse. He’d been at the soccer game with Minho and the others. Hyunjin had gotten hurt, and then… “Look who’s finally awake,” his thoughts were interrupted by the voice of a man. Jisung’s head whipped around towards his voice, sending a wave of dizziness through his body that almost made him lie down again. The man wore a long, tattered brown leather coat and pants in a similar condition. The lack of a shirt made Jisung feel cold by just looking at him. It was the middle of January, how could this guy just walk around like this and not freeze to death? Then it hit him. Werewolves ran hot. Minho only ever wore coats for aesthetic reasons. He’d followed Chan and the others to the school to take care of Hyunjin away from prying eyes. He’d gone to get some medical supplies from the nurse’s office and… “You’re the alpha,” Jisung concluded breathlessly.

Prompt: Character A is a celebrity that's left the big city for an extended stay away from their busy life. Character B runs the bed and breakfast they stay in.

Minho nodded, opening his mouth to explain when his eyes widened as his attention was pulled back on the field. At first, Jisung didn’t even realize what was going on. He heard a pained scream, followed by some of the girls in the front gasping. Minho, Chan and Changbin immediately shot up from their seats. Someone was lying on the ground, quickly being swarmed by players and the coach. Chan and Changbin also left their seats, running to the field. “Wha-what happened?” Jisung asked, overwhelmed by the sudden change of atmosphere. There was some murmuring around him. “Stay with Felix and Jeongin,” Minho said before also running down to the field where Chan and Changbin were pushing through the crowd. Jisung looked towards the two friends he was left with. Felix’s hands were covering half of his face as if he couldn’t decide whether to cover his eyes or not, he was white as a sheet. “I heard it. I heard it snap,” Felix muttered, his eyes wide. “He’s dead. When I get my fingers on him, he’s fucking dead,” Jeongin growled, also getting out of his seat to follow them to the field. “Give us some room!” Jisung heard Chan’s voice down on the field.

“Okay, I’ll do it now,” Minho said softly. A few seconds later, as Jisung looked up again, Minho had been replaced by the reddish-brown wolf he’d seen before. Jisung felt his whole body tense, trying to take a step back, but he was stopped by Felix, still hugging him from behind. Suddenly, the grounding hug from before started to feel suffocating. The wolf wasn’t doing anything, but it might as well be snapping its teeth at him. “Felix, let go of him for a second,” Changbin said. Felix didn’t move at first. “Stop posturing at me, or I’ll get Chan. If you can’t control yourself, you can’t be here.” Jisung wasn’t sure what Changbin was talking about and he couldn’t bring himself to think about it. Right now, his body was telling him to run from the wolf in front of him, but he couldn’t move. It was just like that when that alpha had thrown him to the ground back in the forest. Finally, that weight around him lifted as Felix let go of him. Jisung immediately stumbled backwards, hitting the ground. The wolf pinned its ears back and laid down.

Apparently, the pack had spent the day before decorating. A huge Christmas tree greeted Jisung and Minho as soon as they entered the house. Jisung had only seen trees that big and heavily decorated in movies. “I’ll be in the kitchen, my moon.” Minho said, giving him another kiss before leaving him. Their arrival also didn’t go unnoticed as only moments later Jeongin came down from his room, “You’re here! And you’re wearing the glasses!” He then turned and yelled a bit louder, “Guys!” The rest of the pack, except Minho, quickly joined them in the living room in different states of alarm. “Everything okay?” Chan asked, looking around as if to see if anyone got hurt while Hyunjin just came strolling down the stairs with his hands in his pocket. “Look at Jisung’s new glasses. I picked them out! Doesn’t he look so good?” Jeongin  grabbed Jisung by the shoulders as if to show him off. Chan visibly relaxed, letting out a relieved sigh. “Looks great, Jisungie,” Felix said, his voice low and soft. “Thank you.” Something about Felix saying that made Jisung feel especially fond. Maybe it was because he was his oldest friend, and even after their fight, his opinion still mattered a great deal to him. “Yeah, looking good,” Changbin agreed. The others also agreed with various noises of confirmation. Jeongin didn’t seem completely satisfied. “You guys are so unappreciative of my talents, seriously.”

The parallels to Teen wolf are not coincidental :D I was obsessed with it as a teen and after a rewatch I felt inspired to base a fic on it!

Jeongin shook his head, “I can’t believe this. I’ll come over and take a look at your closet. I mean, I see what you’re wearing to school every day, but, no, I can’t believe that this is all you got. No offense.”

Excerpt: “Don’t look at me like that. I’m not judging you. I’m happy for you that you and Minho get along so well. This soulmate thing might work for some people, but I don’t like it. Jeongin doesn’t seem to get that I don’t have that weird instant connection that lets me look past the fact that we don’t know each other.” “But doesn’t he try to get to know you?” Jisung asked, thinking of all of Jeongin’s flirting attempts. Seungmin rolled his eyes. “I don’t know. Does he? Seriously, why would he think that I would like skipping school or him hunting a deer for me?” “Yeah the whole hunting thing is so weird. When Minho…” Jisung trailed off when he realized something. Jeongin offered to drive Seungmin home, he brought him hot chocolate, he offered him to skip school, he wanted to bring him a deer he hunted… “What were you saying?” Seungmin asked, looking at him quizzically. “Minho did all that.”
