I’m trying to do a mini series each week, in order to get myself making images again! I do still do illustration, but much of it is done over longer periods of time. I’m not quite a doodler, but I do have lots of ideas for visuals that I never seem to get around to. Hopefully this way I can realize those orphan ideas!

My desk/studio space is currently in the basement, in front of a small window that gets some lovely light in the morning. Learned something really cool about Rodin when I visited the museé des beaux arts. He used assemblage as part of his process. He'd model hands, feet, arms in different poses, then cast and recast them in plaster. He'd collage them in various combinations in order to create 'new' pieces. How cool is that?
