Black Sesame Cold Noodles with Spring Veggies...a year and change later and I’m sweatin’ again! All it took was a fresh New Hampshire kitchen and a free night to crack into the TK blogs. Before I go any further, I’m going to award myself an A right off the bat. Good for me and good for Udon Noodles! You guys are tasty with soy sauce just like your cousins Soba Noodles. Speaking of cousins, big thanks to my #1 fan, Rob McFadden for being my motivation to power through after a lengthy hiatus.
Sauce: mostly tastes like rice vinegar - but I’m the one who forgot the Sesame oil, so that’s on me. - A.
Noodles: I appreciate they were honest about only taking 4 minutes to cook. - A.
Veggies: knife skills are sad and slow. - A.
Prep time: 2 hours? I’m a broken chef. - Still an A.
Clean up: thanks new dishwasher and haley! - A.
See you in less than a year! PS - are black sesame seeds a thing? Clearly I took creative liberties here.
