“Go ahead run! You stupid girl!” Marvolo Gaunt yells through the barn as Merope ran through the yard, she trips and landed on mud. The cold mud on her freshly cut scars and wounds her father had given her. Did she knew where she was going? No but she didn’t wanna come back home for a bit.
Walking through the old town, plays with her hair as she watches pretty girls with those pretty dresses walking past her. She looked at herself, her dress. “I’m so… ugly.” She mutters, she flicks her hair back, it was long messy and wavy. Not like those girls who had clean, style bob cuts. She couldn’t afford to get her hair done anyways.
She stopped to catch an eye of a hair salon, seeing Clara bow in picture with her thin eyebrows and short hair. She wants to look like her, but she has big eyes, big lips, and a round face, the thick eyebrows too. Shes the exact opposite of what society calls beautiful. A car was passing by and someone threw a magazine out the window. It landed on puddle.
She stops and turns to see if anyone was looking, she picks up the wet magazine and reads through it, she saw a tutorial on how to become beautiful, she looked around one more time and stuffed the magazine in her coat pocket before walking out of frame.
Manchester
Saturday evening
“Hahaha! I heard that you still ride your horse after you just purchased a luxurious car, isn’t that right Mr. Riddle?” One lady calls out, it was loud, jazz music playing, people laughing, dancing and drinking. Sir Tom takes a big gulp of his whiskey. He smiles down at the ladies, his dimples showing. “That’s right, a new Rolls-Royce Phantom. Navy blue is the color of that beauty.” He says.
“Wow, my gosh Sir. You have a beautiful car and you’re still riding the horse?” They giggled, Sir Tom chuckles and he shrugs. “What can I said? I’ve had the horse since I was a boy, can’t replace a living thing with object yet now can we?” He says.
“Excuse me ladies,” Cecilia said, grabbing his arm and pulling it over to her waist. “My dear sweet promise me a dance.” She says, he smiles down at her and excuses himself and her as they walked to the dance floor. “Are we still gonna ride to Little Hangleton? That very pretty village your parents own in the northern countryside.” She says. Her hands on his shoulder, wrapped her arms around his neck.
His hands still on her waist as they danced, he hums. “We’ll see. I heard they have witches,” he comments, she laughs. “Oh Tommy! Witches? You really are full of yourself, why did you hear some information?” She asked. “It was just a few comments I heard when I mentioned to a few friends, it’s not the 19th century anymore. Vampires and witches? That’s out of game now, we gotten smarter when it comes to what’s real or not.” He says.
“That’s rich coming from you my love. We still going then?” She asked, he pause before nodding. “Of course.”

“Merope! You stupid girl!” Her father screamed, she flinches upon her father’s screams. “Didn’t I tell you I hate when you make peppermint tea!? You are mocking me aren’t you??” He hisses, she immediately shakes her head no. “No!! Papa! I was making that for myself! I couldn’t find your black tea—“
SLAP
“Oh? So you weren’t planning to make it in the first place?” He questions, he raised an eyebrow, Merope holds her cheek where her father hit. “You know you gotten worse since you started to be around those muggles, we both know muggles should stay three feet behind us. If they can’t do that, they deserve to be stab in the chest 56 times.” He spits.
“Get out of my sight,” He says. “And bring that peppermint too, I hate the smell of it.” He adds. Merope tears up, she grabs her tea and head out the door. “And don’t come back for a long time girl!” He calls.

Hoo— An owl sings, filling the silence of the night. a horse passing by, two horses. Tom Sr. Riddle walking past the empty village, it’s at least 11:00 pm. He hums as his girl forms follows him on her horse. “We came later then expected,” she says. “Indeed, though that’s alright. We have plenty of time to explore in the morning. Let’s find your parent’s estate, shall we?” He hums.
Cecilia saw a cottage on top of a hill. “Doesn’t your father own that? I knew him he own this village, this cottage seems off.” She says, he turns to where she’s pointing at.
“It’s not, some crazy grant family owns it. I always find them strange.” He says. “My gosh! Look Tommy, it has a snake on the door! How creepy!” She cries out. “Ergh. Gross, don’t look at it, I can feel his negative energy coming from there. Look away my love, let’s get out of here.” He says, before galloping away.
A few sounds from the bunches as the couple retreated, Merope steps out. Leaves on her hair and coat. But her eyes glowing. Who was the handsome man?
She sneaked back through the window and shut the window. She opens her bag and pulls out scissors and tweezers. She puts the bag down and places the objects on her vanity table. She takes a deep breath. She grabs the scissors, opens the pages of the beauty tutorial, rereads them a couple of times, making sure it’s accurate then cutting her hair.
She doesn’t stop cutting until it reaches the blow her ear. She looks at the mirror. She feels slightly more pretty, smiling a bit but the thick eyebrow really started to pop out. Grabbing the tweezers she started to thin out her eyebrows. She drops it after finishing it, she picks up the magazine and flips the pages a couple more times. Clara Bow in the photo, she cuts the pages and sticks it in her journal. She brings the page next to her.
“Look at me, I’m a star, The Merope Gaunt and I’m the most prettiest girl in the country.” She hums, she drops the journal. “Though I’ll feel more prettier if my eyes were smaller, my lips smaller too… lipstick. I need lipstick. But papa will never let me use muggle objects.” She sighs and hides the journal underneath the board.
𓊆ྀི❤︎𓊇ྀི
“What on earth did you do to your hair?” Morfin asked, her father took a peek from his newspaper. “I wanted to restart on my hair growth that’s all.” She says, Morfin scoffs. “Please. And your eyebrows too? You look like a prostitute.” He insults. “I’m no prostitute!” She protested.
“Said whatever what pleases you, well. I’m gonna take care of some business. Some muggle had the nerve to insult our door. So I’m gonna teach him a lesson.” He himself, Merope froze, she try saying something but he was out the door.
𓊆ྀི❤︎𓊇ྀི
“Look at this color lipstick my love? Isn’t it beautiful?” Cecilia asked, holding a lipstick. “Beautiful,” Tom comments. “Is that the one you want my darling?” He asked, she beans and nods. “Yes! Thank you so much dear!” She giggles.
SQUEALLLL—
“What? What was that?” Cecilia asked, Tom immediately recognized that sound. His horse.. he immediately rushed outside. His horse was okay, right where he left it. “What has happened?” Cecilia rushed after him. “Nothing, false alarm.” He says.
“Did you but the lipstick?” He asked, she nods. “Very well, let’s head back to the estate.” He says, he gets on his horse as she follows.
𓊆ྀི❤︎𓊇ྀི
Girlfriend? He has a lover? Merope saw when Tom fell off his horse, the once tamed animal now all crazy. She knew exactly who to cause this chaos. His lover near him, patting his shoulder as he was shaken by the incident. Merope had hoped that the curse was on her horse instead of his. But what hope is there?
She’s ugly.
and him…
He’s so handsome, too handsome.
How could anyone like her? How could anyone like him love her?
The answer is, he won’t. Of course not, when he already is so in love with a beautiful girl. It fills her jealousy and shame. If only she was born more prettier. She hides in the trees as she couldn’t bear to watch the couple alone.
𓊆ྀི❤︎𓊇ྀི
“I see, how many times did your brother assault muggles?” A wizard police asked through the phone of Gaunt’s family kitchen. Merope hums. “Umm, more than once, a recent one took place yesterday and I had an enough of his violent behavior. He needs to be put away.” She says.
“Well, if he has done multiple times then that’s more of a serious charge, very well. I’ll send a couple of officers to your door Miss Gaunt.” He says. She smiles.
“Thank you.” She says. “No problem, just doing my job. Good day Miss Gaunt.” He said, before hanging up. She puts the phone down and looks at her peppermint tea, she spins the tea with a spoon watching the leaf spin around with the water. If only they will take away her father too so he won’t complain about the smell.
𓊆ྀི❤︎𓊇ྀི
“WHAT?!” Morfin screams as an officer arrested him. Their father watches in horror. “Now sir, more resistance more trouble it’ll cause for you. Your protesting really proves more about your violent behavior. Really can’t have you be out in the world with such attitude.” He says. It’s the early morning and the first thing Merope woke up to was her brother getting arrested.
“I try telling the boy to be more cautious with those muggles.” Her father says, he hums and crosses his arms. “More cautious?? You’re the one who told me to put that curse on that muggle’s horse!” Merfin cries out. Everyone in the room looked at him.
Her father looked baffled. “I-I— What?! You’re spiting lies boy!” He protested. “I’m spitting the truth! He told me to curve that Riddle’s horse! He said he wanted to be the one to vex him!” Merfin cries out. The more he spoke the more their father’s face turn pale.
“Mm, well. Sir, you’re aware telling people to act on violence is against the law. Well, you sir. Are also under arrest.” The police officer flicks his wand, the spell catching Marvolo in handcuffs. “Goodbye Miss Gaunt.” He says. Merope watches the two being dragged away by two police officers, she smiles. They’re gone. She’s alone, for a very very long time.
𓊆ྀི❤︎𓊇ྀི
“Are you certain you don’t wanna come along?” Tom asked his girlfriend, she yawns and nods her head no. “No Tom, I’m exhausted and why do you wanna back to horse riding after that incident? You don’t seem shaken by it.” She comments, he shrugs. “People still do things they love even from a bad experience my dear, very well. If you insist.” He gets up and grabs his hat.
“Be careful out there will you? It’s gonna get hot.” She warns. “I’ll will, I’ll be back very soon my darling.” He hums and kisses her goodbye before walking out the estate.
She heard his footsteps getting further and him opening the door, it closed shut and she heard his horse galloping away. She didn’t know it yet, but it was her last time seeing him. His real self.
Click click click
It’s been two hours since his departure. He was so hot, waving a magazine to his face as he walked his horse through the forest. He needed some shade, and—
“Water sir?” He looked up to see a young woman, she had big round eyes that slightly creep him out. The water looked cold, fresh and clean. “I-I um, yes! Yes please, thank you. How kind of you.” He says, he takes the water and he gulps it downs.
“You’re welcome,” she says, she turns around and walked away. But then she heard footsteps trading after her. She smiled, it worked.

12:57 am.
“It’s been two hours! He should’ve have been here! We should call the police.” Cecilia says to his parents.
“Don’t be silly Cecilia, Tom is a grown man. He most likely stay at hotel, you know how unpredictable the weather is here. We shouldn’t worried that will only cause more problems.” Thomas says.
“Thomas is right, we shouldn’t worried. We should rest in the morning and see if he returns tomorrow if not, then we’ll call the police but I’m not too worried about it since Tom is a smart man and knows how to get out of danger.” Mary says, Cecilia hums and nods.
“Very well, goodnight then.” She says before retreating to her room.
“AHHH!!” Screams echo across the Riddle estate. Mary and Thomas jolt awake and ran downstairs, they saw Cecilia on the floor, sobbing and holding a letter to her chest. “Cecilia my dear! What has happened!?” Mary cries out.
“Tom! He’s gone mad! He ended our relationship! For another woman!” She sobs, her shoulders shaking. Mary and Thomas were baffled, what? Tom? Leaving her? Just a day ago he bought her a pretty lipstick and even kiss her goodbye before he left. How could he magically switched so fast?
Mary grabs the letter from her hands and her eyes wonder down to read it.

Cecilia on the floor, she was laying down the tears dripping down. “Where is he??” Thomas hisses. “Who knows? He could’ve have ran away from her, certainly he’s not gonna stay here while doing this.” Mary says, they looked down at Cecilia.
“Cecilia sweetheart, I’m truly sorry. But we’ll try to find him, and see what on earth cause him to break up with you through a letter..” She mutters, sighing.
𓊆ྀི❤︎𓊇ྀི
“Hahaha!” Tom laughs as him and Merope played on the piano on a flat they bought in London. “You are a terrible player! Do you even know what keys you are playing?” He chimes, sliming down at her, she smiles and rubs her shoulders. “I have no clue to what I’m touching, thought hope fully you’ll teach me what I’m doing.” She smiles, he hums.
2 Months passed, and everything was normal in London, they laughed, watched movies, baked together, got each other gifts. It was very convincing that these two were in love, Merope loved him, but him. It was just potion that loved her instead of him. She knew this was wrong but she cling on to him, she brought him here in the first place, she can’t possibly let go.
“Write here, and you write here.” A older gentleman says, pointing at the marriage certificate the young couple were signing. Tom leaned forward and signed his name, she follows and wrote her name down. The older gentleman takes the papers.
“Well, you are now Merope Riddle,” The gentleman says, closing the flies. “Congratulations.”
𓊆ྀི❤︎𓊇ྀི
“What happens if you over do it in the potion?” Merope asked Helen. A pure blood witch she met while her stay in London. “The love potion, Merope we both know how dangerous that potion is, and the serious consequences that come with it. You could get arrested.” She warns, Merope face darkened.
“I know.. but I love him Helen. I will make him fall in love with me without the love potion.. I just need to know how..” She bites on her thumb. Helen walks closer.
“Merope, you’re aware that the more you feed him that potion the more violent he gets, he was already giving a death stare to that man who was speaking to you. He screams murder..! You must put an end to this before it gets out of hand.” She says, Merope frowns and shakes her head. “N-No..! I can’t.. I can’t be coward to end it all, my father just got out of jail..! He probably already heard the news of me marrying a muggle. The beatings are gonna get worse if I stop now. He’s gonna kill me!” She tears up.
Helen state down at her with disbelief and a bit of guilt. “I’ll control him, I promise.. he won’t hurt a fly. I mean look at him, does he look like someone who will hurt others for me? I know it’s dangerous but with a bit of tame.. he’ll managed and will love me. Like a real person..” Merope says.
“Merope, don’t said I didn’t warn you.” She says.
“Are you sure you wanna meet your father? You don’t seem to happy upon meeting him.” Tom says, he follows Merope like a dog as the two walked up to the hill of the cottage. “I’m sure he won’t be bother by your presence. I’m only here to get a few things and we’ll go.” She says.
She enters the old cottage and Tom follows. “Hello?” She calls out, no answer. “I guess he’s not home. Boil the kettle and make me some peppermint tea darling? I’ll be upstairs and grabs my things. Okay?” She says. Tom nodded and hurried to the kitchen. She hold on to the railing and ended upstairs.
Each footstep earned a creak from the stairs, she went up slowly and carefully, scared that her father will pop out of nowhere. When no one came to her when she entered the halls she lets out a sigh of relief and headed to her bedroom. She opens it, and finds all her things everywhere. That only confirmed that her father was here, and heard the news. Everything torn apart. But managed to keep a few things hidden.
She enters took out a few things, her magazine and her clothes, she takes out her hidden potions from her closet and stuffed them in there. She sat on the edge of the bed as she waited. No just relaxed. She lays down and slowly closes her eyes…
“AHHH—ERGH—!!!” Her eyes snapped open as she heard screams of terror. Her father was here, she jump off and ran downstairs, she runs to the kitchen and heard sobbing. She froze as she saw a pool of blood, a broken wand on the floor and her father swimming, drowning in it. The peppermint leaf on his face, and the tea spilled everywhere.
She slowly looked up to see Tom crying in the corner, holding a kitchen knife, his suit was covered in blood. “Sobs— Ahahaha— sobs.” Tom was laughing and crying at the same time, the smell of peppermint tea and blood fills the air. The wand on the floor just proves that her father was planning to attack but move too slow for a younger and more athletic man.
“Merope..” he whispers weakly, as if he’s begging for his life. He is.. but Merope just stare down at him, a small smile tug on her lips. “That’s embarrassing papa.”
Crushhhh
Sounds of leaves crushing as the two dragged his body through the woods. They buried him, and put a peppermint leaf on it, Merope taking a few sips of her tea before pouring it on his grave. “Goodbye papa, let’s go Tom.” She says, Tom follows her. “You’re not mad at me aren’t you darling?” He whispers.
“Not at all, as long as you don’t do it again.” She says. He nodded immediately. “Of course not my love! I only attacked him cause he told me to stay away from you, I don’t like it when people get in my way.” He says. “I understand Tom, but if you wanna be with me, you must have control with your emotions. I really doubt anyone is gonna take me away from you, I’m ugly.” She says, crossing her arms.
“Hideous..” He frowns before immediately smiling. “Whatttt? Nonsense, beautiful my dear. Very very beautiful.” He hums as they walked out of the woods.
March 23rd 1926
Merope lays on the bed exhausted, she just had intercourse with him. It took only a few seconds before she fell asleep, but at 3:12 am she wakes up, she couldn’t move. Only her head can, she slowly turns to find the bedside empty. But there was breathing, panting beside her, behind her. She slowly turns around to see Tom with a clearly distress face.
“I don’t like the taste… it tastes funny.” He whispers, she stares up as his eyebrows frown and looked down at her. It was pitch black in the master bedroom, she can only see his head. “Give me water please, I need go get rid of this horrible taste..” he whispers again. “Tom… we can get water in the morning, please go back to bed.” She whispers. He started to cry, he stood up, she couldn’t see him at all, hurried footsteps around the bed. She immediately sat up. He stood beside a window, his naked form. But he had a towel around him.
He started to cry, before he slam his face against the window.
“Tom! Stop! Please get back to bed…” Merope begs him, he pause and only his head move to face her. “I feel like people don’t want us together.” He sniffles. “Tom, no one thinks that. Honestly I don’t think they care—“
“THEY CARE BECAUSE I CARE—!” He screams, he pants for a breather. He stare at her for a good two seconds. “I’m sorry.. eghhhhh!!! AHHH! This horrible horrible taste!!” He pants, he grabs pair of scissors and cut a baby bamboo stem before he chews on it.
“Tom please come back to bed, I’ll bring you some ginger tea..” She mutters, she sat up turning to leave. “NO!” He cries out, she turns to face him. “Don’t go, I don’t want tea.” He mutter still aggressively chewing on the bamboo stem, she looked at him with mild confusion, she nods before getting underneath the sheets again.
He gets back in bed, but not lying down, he was leading against the broad. “I can still taste the red lips… it’s disgusting. Darling are you upset about the fact that I was seeing another woman?” He mutters, Merope sighs. “What? No, not at all. That’s how society is, people trend to see more than one person.” Her arms underneath her pillow. She didn’t see it but she heard it, Tom stopped chewing on the bamboo.
“You saw other people?” His head turning, he looks at her. “Umm, a long time ago. He left for the city so I don’t know where he is. I’m not too worried about it, let’s just go to bed Tom.” She sighs, pulls the sheets to cover herself before closing her eyes. Tom kept staring at her, chewing on bamboo more violently.
Merope was at a dinner party, the connections he had brought them to many events, and slowly they did accept her. Off guard about their relationship but didn’t think into it. It’s none of their business anyways.
Merope excused herself, the smell of wine and champagne was making her nauseous. She leaves and heads into a drawing room, a fireplace going on. She sat on the armchair and let her shoulders relaxed, when a door opens. Expecting it to be Tom but no. Heels echoed as they enter the room.
“Witch.” The female says, Merope pause and slowly turns around. It was Cecilia. It look like she hasn’t slept in days, her makeup which was usually done and perfect looks like she was in hurry to put it on. “You took him away from me, I know you did something to him, a spell! You cast a spell on him!” She cries out, Merope stood up. “This isn’t the Middle Ages anymore, don’t you think that accusation is a bit old?” She says.
Cecilia steps closer. “Me and Tom were planning to marry, until you took that away from me! Whatever you’re doing that’s making him love you stop it! Stop it now, you’re only hurting yourself. A man like Tom will never love you, look at you! You inbreed witch! All of you deserve to burn—“
BANG—
“Tom!” Cecilia cries out— but.
SMASH, SMASH, SMASH, SMASH, SMASH SMASH, SMASH, SMASH, SMASH, SMASH—
Merope watched in horror as she see Tom holding Cecilia’s hair, slamming her face against the burning flames, her screams long gone after a few seconds. The smoke was making the room smell like blood and rotting fresh, Merope backs up as Tom pause. He pants air.
He started to cry, and gasp as if he realized what he did but whatever was in his system it immediately gain control, he started to laugh. His nails clawing on his cheeks.
“Finally..!” Pants, he stopped laughing as if he remembered she was still there. He stood up, blood dripping down his hands. “Hey, what’s wrong?” He asked. She gulps, covering her nose. They smell spreading the room, Tom opens the windows. “I must’ve have gotten carried away, but that’s okay. Well buried her next your papa. Okay?” He hums.
“I made a mess.. oops.” He smiles but immediately disappears. “Don’t you love me?” He smiles again as Merope watched in horror. She created a monster…
There’s times as a woman where you feel awful, nauseous, exhausted, loss of appetite or even craving foods. Merope was unfortunately one of those days, but it hasn’t gone away. Maybe she catch the flu or something. She was finally alone walking through the streets of London when she bumps into someone.
“Oh! My apologies—“ She stopped when she saw the familiar face. “Merope? Oh my goodness… it—it’s been so long since I’ve last seen you. Your hair..! Wow, you change it, and your eyebrows too. Seems like you’re keeping up with the latest fashion.” Fred, an old friend, an old romance partner.
“Fred… wow. It’s been so long, how have you been doing.?” She asked; she looked around fearing Tom will appear out of nowhere. “I’ve been well, I’ve been accepted into a very good school to become a professor. Hogwarts? Was its name, I start this coming fall and I’m very excited about it.” He smiles.
“Oh! Wow, that’s great, congratulations! Things have been, umm well, not perfect but it could worse.” She mutters, Fred frowns. “Oh, I’m sorry, you seem to be doing alright, you look great. The bob fits you well.” He said, she smiles upon his compliment.
“Thank you, you too as well.” She said.
“We should catch up some time, you know? Maybe have some tea, I know how much you love peppermint tea.” He hums, her eyebrows frown, peppermint tea sound really really good about now.
“Yeah we should, maybe around this Saturday. We should—“ She pauses as she felt a pair of eyes staring into her soul. Fred noticed her expression. “Merope? What’s the matter?” He asked with a hint of concern in his tone. She slowly turns around to see Tom, he had a huge frown on his face. He slowly walked in between them. “Darling who’s this?” He asked, moving his left hand around, showing off clear as day his wedding ring.
“Who is he?” Fred asked, he looked over at Merope who was currently being blocked by Tom’s frame. “I’m her husband,” Tom said proudly. He show off the ring. “Oh! Merope, I didn’t know you were married.” He whispers.
“It’s a long story.” She mutters, rubbing her arm. “It’s a love story! It’s not very appropriate to be alone with a married woman for so long.” Tom hisses. “My apologies, again I wasn’t aware if she was married. Umm, see you later Merope.” Fred mutters, before walking away.
Merope leaves the bathroom, her head was unfortunately on the toilet. It’s not the flu, she’s clearly with child but she can’t seem to accept that yet. Her eyes looked over at Tom who was asleep in the bed, she had put a spell on him to make him sleep until the morning. Not like she wanted to, she had to. She chews on peppermint leaf to get rid of the disgusting taste, she looks over the window to see Fred in the car. He waved her over, she pauses and looked over at Tom who was still asleep.
She slowly slips in her shoes and heads downstairs, her wands falling off her pockets and she steps on it, making a crack sound. She didn’t noticed and went out through the front door. That sound was minor and quiet but unfortunately not quiet enough.
…
“Sorry I couldn’t speak to you this afternoon. I was so busy.” Fred mutters. “It’s okay, I know you’re busy with that new job that’s coming up.” Merope sighs, leading back against the chair. “What’s wrong?” He asked. “I’m just feeling a bit unwell, thought it was a bug. I don’t think it is. But I’ll investigate that later.” She sighs, getting up and sitting straight again.
“Hey, I heard about what happened to your father and brother. I’m sorry.” Fred said, Merope turns over to face him. “Oh, um. My brother is still in jail I’m sure he’s enjoying it there. But my father got out early, he passed away that following month.” She says playing with her fingers. There’s clearly more to the story but she doesn’t have the guts to said.
“I’m sorry Merope, I mean. Since we were kids I kinda of knew you never liked your father. He treated you horribly.” He said, she nods and sighs again. “Yeah um, his death was unexpected but I got over it. No big deal. Life is life.” She says, silence followed.
“…”
“Um, I know it’s bad timing and you’re married but when we were kids I really thought I’ll end up with you.” He says, Merope stopped playing with her fingers and looked up at him. “No way.” She said, he laughs. “Yeah—“ he clears his throat. “But unfortunately I left the small town, never really got the chance to ask you if you wanted to be my girlfriend. I was a coward.” He said. Merope turns back around, and looks down.
“Yeah, I’m also a coward. Fred..” She traits off, Fred looked over her. He’s not as handsome as Tom but his feelings for her were real. “I made a terrible mistake, I was too blind. I couldn’t focus on the things that really matter. I may be poor, ugly and dumb but I didn’t know people out there will actually like me. Like you.” She said. His eyes brightened.
“What about your husband Merope?” He asked. He turns his body towards her. She sighs and her shoulders slumped. “He…” She couldn’t have the words. “He doesn’t love me.” She mutters. He frowns.
“What? Then why did he marry you if he didn’t love you?” He asked, Merope takes a breath.
“I put something in his drink..” she whispers so quickly. Fred frowns and grew a serious expression. “Put what in his drink?”
“A love potion—“
CRACK— SLAM!
“AHHHH!” Tom screamed, he was in the car, he grabbed the seat beat and started to strangle Fred, Fred gasps for air, reaching for his wand in his pocket as Merope watched in horror.
“You’re putting spells in my DARLING MIND!” He screams, as he grip on the seatbelt. He grab Fred’s hair and started to slam his head against the hard steering wheel, slamming his head over and over again. Blood getting everywhere.
He stopped, Fred’s body slumped over the wheel, his face was unrecognizable. The pressure of his corpse made the car move. Tom noticed Merope’s expression. “Why were you with that man? Why don’t you love me?! WHY DON’T YOU LOVE ME!” He screams as the car roll down the streets. Merope gasps her lips trembling as she stared up at Tom. For some reason, his body was taller than normal.
The car stopped moving when it hit another park one, Tom got out, and he walked backwards to her. He open the door. “Ruoy Nos.” He whispers.

“This is the magic of ministry, how can we help you?” A older man said through the phone, Helen gripping on the telephone. “Yes! I would like to report an incident regards Merope Gaunt and a muggle named by Sir Tom Riddle.” She said.
“Okay, what’s the issue?” He asked.
“That muggle man has got insane, he killed a pureblood just a couple nights ago. She’s has him on Amortentia..! He’s getting too violent and his physical appearance is starting to change too.” She whispers fearing that he will pop up.
Silence.
“Okay, what was the victim’s name?” He asked.
“Fred ——“ She answers. The man didn’t reply, he was silence. “Okay, does this tie back to Mr. Gaunt’s death?” He asked. “Yes! That psycho killed him as well. I believe he even kill his former lover. It’s getting bad.” She whines. “Alright, we’ll send someone over, in the meanwhile stay away from the couple, the Amortentia is getting stronger and that makes it more dangerous and Sir Tom more likely to attack you or anyone near them.” He explained. “Thank you for your service for making it a safest place.” He said before hanging up.
Merope stopped adding more Amortentia in his drinks. She was starting to fear him, this potion at started to physically change his appearance. Her round belly started to show as she started to wear more loose clothing and unfortunately to add to her stress, she’s wanted by the magic of ministry.

Tom’s cries echo as he was in the back of an unknown vehicle, his handsome face now looking like a melted painting. Aurors surrounded him, weapons with them in case he gets violent. They find Tom covered in blood but Merope was nowhere to be found. One Auror grabs a needle and brings it close to Tom. “This won’t hurt a bit, you’ll have your happiness back. For now.” He mutters, before stabbing his arm, injecting the needle into his blood.

Mary opened the front door and gasps to see Tom. “Tom! Where have you been?” She mutters, he looks down and had a blank stare. He looked at his face, and slowly hugged his mother, before he started to cry. A Charlie Chaplin song played in the background as he cries.
Mary was off guard and immediately hugged him, what on earth happened to him. She hasn’t heard from Cecilia in a long time.
In the dark orphanage, Merope had given birth to a baby boy. She looked down at the infant. Exactly like his father. A midwife looked down at Merope’s weakling body. “What would you like to name him?” She asked, Merope gasps for air. “Tom.. name him Tom riddle..”
“Make sure the boy ends up…”
She gasps for her last breath. Her body went still, skin cold and body paled. The midwife held the child, looking down at her body, before grabbing cold peppermint tea and pouring it on her body.
