A continuation of this tinywave idea!! Where basically everything is the same, it’s just Soundwave has a more human form cuz it makes a ton of sense to me 😮‍💨 this time this one’s for his bigger form!! Tho technically his “big form” I like to imagine is like a mecha he controls similarly to the lesser bots that he controls in the show (saying as his bigger form IS made out of the less complex bots), that is also just like, his transforming car probably. Anyways since according to his Electrostatic bio he canonically has taken a liking to Old Earth Westerns I decided to keep his chaps for his bigger form too 😌 since he deserves to dress the way that he wants—

Hello! I’m so sorry for replying this late — really, I am! 😭 To give a little explanation (not an excuse!), English isn’t my native language, so at the time you sent your question, I wasn’t very familiar with fanfics yet. I hadn’t read many works back then, so I didn’t feel confident enough to recommend anything. I truly apologize for that. Even now, I’m still not fully comfortable with English, and I’m not completely used to how AO3 works either.

But still, I’d love to share a few stories that really left an impression on me! (I’ve excluded any with explicit or heavy shipping elements, since preferences can differ from person to person!)

First, there’s “The Decepticon’s Snow Day” (https://archiveofourown.org/works/3126698) This was one of the very first fics I happened to read when I started exploring fanfiction. It’s such a cute and fun story about the Decepticons having a snowball fight — I ended up reading it several times because it just made me happy. Even with my limited English skills back then, it was easy and enjoyable to read.

The next one was a harder choice, since there are honestly so many stories that moved me deeply. But if I had to pick one, it would be “secret densities.” (https://archiveofourown.org/works/50303389) I’m not entirely sure if this one is part of a longer series or shares its universe with other works — I was still learning how AO3 worked when I found it. But I read it as a standalone, and it was still so immersive. The author’s storytelling and descriptions were incredible.

What made me love this fic the most was how the author portrayed Soundwave’s face. I’ve always loved imagining what Soundwave might look like beneath the mask, and their interpretation was just perfect. I remember being so emotionally overwhelmed that I struggled through the English just to keep reading. And the artwork included in the story? Absolutely amazing.

There are so many other works I’d love to recommend (some even inspired me to draw fanart myself!), but these two hold a very special place in my heart....
