I simplified the code and tweaked it so you can use it with any siteskin you like, and it will alert to artifacts not only from Claude, but also Gemini and deepseek. The source for the info on the deepseek artifact is tiktok user @\thepurpledisaster!

To test that it works, here is an anon fic with deepseek artifacts (this one was made by that tiktokker specifically to test the code).

Disclaimer: This code does not detect any and all LLM use. It only detects artifacts left in the HTML code by these three LLMs. If people copypaste to another app before Ao3, the artifacts may not be retained. If people use Ao3's HTML editor rather than the WYSIWYG editor, they are likely to notice the artifacts and remove them. If people use the LLM's own copy button vs. right click+copy, depending on the LLM, one method may copy the artifacts, one may not. If people use other LLMs, this will not detect that. This code only detects the HTML artifacts from Claude, Gemini and deepseek.

This was the only character that immediately popped out to me. Sevya and their entire clan has always been loosely based on the Wayne family. Their relationship with Boba (Jat’ika) is very similar to Dick and Damian’s when Dick becomes Batman for a while. Just like Dick, Sevya is a family first type of guy and would always be ready to defend their clan. (+ the whole keeping mask on and mask off life separate).

Spike Speigel:

(Cowboy Bebop)

Space bountyhunter anyone? Sassy guy, complicated private life he keeps to himself. When Sevya quit their GAR contract to protect Boba, burning quite a few bridges they’ve had (ex, CF99) they just kinda accepted the animosity as a new normal instead of explaining the situation which feels like a spike thing to do.

Jett:

(ATLA)

Okay yes he’s a very unpleasant dude I know. But Sevya has their flaws and especially at Jett’s age they were even worse. The way their upbringing radicalized Sevya for a good chunk of their early life (I mean my guy has a lifetime ban from Sundari and probably a kill on sight from deathwatch). Sevya is just as capable of making enemies as friends wherever they go.

Tolya Yul-Batar:

(Shadow and Bone)

It was between this guy and Gojo from the hit show Jujutsu Kaizen. Tolya’s main thing is he’s a warrior with “magical” talents that he dismisses as secondary to his skills as a fighter. I don’t really get into it in the Holonet because I post from Sevya’s perspective and Sevya just doesn’t really know, but they are force sensitive enough for it to help in many situations but not enough to be a Jedi. If anyone ever lets Sevya know they’ll likely be faced with a dismissal.

Amethyst (Steven Universe)

Gi and Amethyst share a challenging past—a feeling of being between worlds. Their families are not a given. Both respond to challenges with scrappy bravado.

Mako Mori (Pacific Rim)

Mako is someone with principles, a war-torn childhood, and presumably learned discipline. Gi is the same.

Geralt of Rivia (The Witcher)

Gi and Geralt are both reluctant to be anything more than they are; yet, with a tensed jaw and a sigh, they'll do it anyway—and, they'll both raise warriors; keep their culture alive.

Sarah Connor (Terminator franchise)

On my morning walk this morning I was daydreaming about what battalion I would be assigned to if I would join the GAR, based on what would be the best fit for who I am as a person, and what I would be doing.

I came up with a bunch of amusing thoughts and now I'm wondering what battalion you all would be assigned to and that would go!

I'm actually curious about you as a real person, so I'm asking about where you would be placed regardless of your favourite clones (and crushes)

FLO — CORUSCANT GUARD I would definitely be hired to help Fox keep the Coruscant Guard running smoothly. Fox and his equally burnt out and perpetually tired assistant, who happens to also have grey streaks in her long brown hair and a deep hatred for incompetent politicians.

It wouldn't take long before the Corries start to refer to the Commander and I as twins, Fox and Flo. It has a nice ring to it. Everyone outside of the Guard is very confused by it.

To Fox's absolute horror I do not drink caf, but he is both delighted and relieved when he learns that doesn't mean I can't make stellar (and strong as hell) cups of caf for him and his men. He's very glad I'm around, even though he often wonders how I even function.
