Up until now, he didn’t need to be hugged by his dad because they don’t do that often anyway.. until Vegeta hugged him goodbye After everything is back to normal he thinks about it from time to time but doesn’t really need it but then Bura came and she gets to be held ALL THE TIME-

I have so much to say about how I love Goku and how great a man he is. But then I can never forget Gohan’s crying and calling otouuuuuuuusannnnnnnnn when he first got kidnapped by /his uncle/ Raditz and then he just never had the chance to be close to his father againnnnnn until after Buu… such a sweet and soft child has grown up into a very fine man with a pure heart without really being able to talk to his dad =((( Just imagine how he watches Goten (who too has a hard time getting close to his father) and thinks of his childhood and how he’d love to have Goku by his side……….. Btw I love Raditz too haha-
