I see your claim that kid Richie sings “Eddie, My Love” to Eddie as a way to annoy or embarrass him, but secretly he thinks of Eddie when he listens to it alone at night. So I raise to you that whenever adult Richie plays the “throwback” songs at his radio station he can’t explain the feeling he gets whenever he hears the beginning of that song play nor can he explain why he keeps the record on display in his house. 

sorry but if i’m suppose to believe that eddie and bill had a “brotherly bond” and that bill looked at eddie as a younger brother then there’s no way i’ll accept adult bill not even taking a moment to grieve eddie’s death or how he just allowed him to be left in the sewers without a single thought. without a single care. when eddie was on the ground dying bill was nowhere to be found. immediately after eddie dies all he thinks about is audra and richie has to remind him that eddie just died. if bill, the dude who cared so much for his baby brother that tragically died, really cared for eddie as a younger brother then he would of at least said goodbye to him before leaving the sewers, and that’s the bare minimum.

eddie kaspbrak’s “sense of direction” magic gift thing is just him being the most patient, level headed one in a stressful situation.

as kids richie would always pinch eddie’s cheeks because he chickened out of kissing his cheek every time. he always thought he never had the opportunity or couldn’t land a joke with it. well years later as adults, when he has to leave eddie’s body behind, richie finally got the opportunity to kiss eddie’s cheek. a kiss goodbye.

the ship dynamic of reddie is great because at first glance you would think in general eddie would be the one who is timid and shy about any/everything and that richie is the outspoken one, but once you get to know them you realize that eddie would be confidently explaining to the waiter that they messed up richie’s order while richie’s in the background saying he’ll just eat whatever.
