It wasn’t originally blue. my cousin Kristin sold hers to me when I was like 12. It was a sweet deal. A total steal cuz she had gotten bored of it. But it was completely cream pink. No bueno. So that same weekend i gassed myself in the basement by spray painting it blue with a half empty can I found outside. I was pretty proud, but playing it always felt like my hands came away feeling kind of greasy. Nevertheless, the texture didn’t stop me from solving puzzles like it was my effing career and occasionally throwing tissue boxes at my Nintendogs.
