You meet someone, they like you. You are skeptical at first, trying your best not to get used to them talking to you everyday because you know how this ends every single time. But it’s difficult to not give in to the temptation. What if this person really wants you? And you are overthinking like always? So you make that leap, you jump, you allow yourself to love and be loved again. This is the part that I hate the most. Not what comes after. Right here, this moment. Being stupid enough to make the same damned mistake again. Right after you gather the courage to do this again, they leave you. And the end, which shouldn’t be a surprise anymore, is you going through every moment over and over again, trying to figure out where you went wrong.
