OH MY GOD WAIT WAIT WAIT I ACTUALLY KNOW ABOUT THIS
The movie hasn't "not come out," it started production in 2020. The script was only finalized in 2023, and that doesnt account for animation (presuming and hoping its not live action) casting promotion or editing.
Director Will Gluck (Easy A, Annie, and Peter Rabbit movies) is 100% tied to it, and Emmy Winner writer A. C. Bradley (What If?) has finished the script.
I'm not saying the lore was introduced as a tie in to this movie and that Aurore wasnt actually the creator of these characters but rather just in charge of introducing them and fleshing them out further, as it is totally possible that the movie has absolutely nothing to do with the in game lore, but I will say it is worth noting that the script went into production in 2020 and The Traveler, our very first lore character, was first teased in 2021 Unlimited Season Trailers in 2021. Also, it seems like the original screenplay was not used so its possible they changed it to tie into lore.
TLDR; a just dance movie is very much so happening still
