I need you to hear me when I say part of growing up is learning to not care. part of growing up as a queer person is learning to abandon online discourse in favor of a “who cares, welcome to the club” kind of attitude. I promise you, you will feel so much less stress when you stop the infighting over slur discourse and identities you think don’t make sense. adopt a “I may not understand but it has no impact on me” mentality I promise it will be so much better for your mental health.
