KAP: im just worried bout sophomore year at osu, football, school, bulking up even more, figuring out my classes and wondering if i should get a degree at the same time as pursuing football or not.

KAP: i feel like i need to chill cause i'm overthinking everything?

KAP: but i also don't want to stress you out, babe. I can live with the other WR crew if you think that during school we should have different places?

KAP: what are we gonna do up at OSU? you wanna live together there? im almost done my workout but thats all thats on my mind.

This may be a shocker to some, but I’m not just ‘remotely’ athletic or your average joe trying to make it to the big leagues, I’m already in them. I started, as a true freshman for the Ohio State. At WR. I learned what position best suits me, from a young age I told my parents this is my dream and they’ve made sure I’ve had all the help in making this reality. I work out at least twice a day. I’m dedicated and always have been. Always will be. I broke records at McKinley for yards ran, touchdowns scored, and even when it came to sprints since I did track in the off season during high school to be the best. Failure isn’t an option and I have a personal trainer alongside coaches and an amazing staff at OSU that helps me every step of the way with this process. I’m on tv Saturday’s, scoring touch downs and staying true to my word and what I set out to do when I fell in love with the game. This isn’t some pipe dream, I’m going to be in the NFL.

Isn’t this kind of like, a shit question to ask somebody? I’m not disrespectful or anything, so I’m just gonna say my dad has worked hard. His entire life. When he was my age, he thought he wanted to be in the army, so he enlisted. His parents own a lot of successful businesses in Hawaii and still do. My dad met someone from Lima in basic training and he told him he had a dream about making this area better some day, some way. So when that man passed tragically, my dad and my mom decided to relocate here and open new stores, franchises, grind day and night to have strip malls, purchase lots to create developments around Lima and just kept expanding their empire. They got into apartment complexes, condo’s, redoing as much as Ohio as they could and still continue to. Working hard is in our blood and my parents have done so their entire lives, same with my grandparents and I will continue to do the same to carry on the Lake name. My plan is the NFL, but I’m still going to make changes, invest and build wherever I’m drafted and make an impact along with a difference wherever I land. Hopefully one day my dad will actually allow me to take care of him and my mom so they can retire, but us Lake’s are pretty hard headed so I dunno if that’ll ever happen haha. Alexis might be able to convince them somehow, someway.

How could I ever get sick of this? When you’re with the person you love, it just hits different and you don’t want anyone else. Specific things that I like about her? I love her drive and determination, how smart she is, how she supports me with football and took the time to learn the sport since it means everything to me. She watches the NFL alongside me on Sundays after being at my games on Saturdays. My girl loves what I do, she loves to show how much I am her world just as much as she is mine. Our families are one, she fit’s in with all my siblings and I work hard to have a brothership with hers. Alexis has a lot of sides to her that no one gets to see and I’m glad she has some sides that are just reserved for me. We live together and we never go to bed angry. Like we talk until we fall asleep if somethings up. And we still spice shit up, we’re our best selves and push one another, we’re each other’s motivation and know that regardless of anything that comes in our way, we’re going to push through it all. She’s so much more than you don’t get to always know about and I’m good with that. Don’t disrespect her or that butt cause it’s mine.

KAP: my pops rented me a car here in LA since you gotta be 25 to, so we could hit up multiple burger places to taste who got the best ones

my heart goes crazy when i think about how i get to love this girl forever. and then at the same time, it still doesn’t feel like that’s long enough.

KAP: you know i only like quesadillas, chips & guac & frozen drinks. taco bell ain't my fav thing in this world, so maybe this is a sign for you to go somewhere else
