One of the most EPIC shows I have ever been to in my life: I went to go see Forlorn, Pupil Slicer, and Ithaca at this little underground venue a couple weeks back. 💀💀💀 All of these HARDCORE bands have WOMEN lead vocalists. That is practically unheard of in the scene and was super inspiring. Talked to all the bands and definitely all the girls afterwards and they were shocked I was from America! Still don’t completely get the big deal about Rothko, but I understand a little better after seeing them in person. While art is highly subjective, there is still objective capital B Beauty. We all just so happened to be in England during the Women’s Euro Cup, and so for both the semifinals and finals we went to a live viewing of the game…and the crowds got WILD! When England won the finals at the last second in overtime, people were climbing into the fountains! It got insane!!!
