House of the Dragon Season 2, Episode 8 “The Queen Who Never Was” would’ve been a great lead up to episodes 9 and 10…

If they existed. I don’t know whose fault it is (I heard it was most likely HBO). But I’m disappointed that this was the case because that shouldn’t be a cliffhanger episode. It should be the final episode before the next episode which would’ve been *SPOILERS* the Battle of the Gullet.

At least Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will tie me over next year.

It looks and feels much more aligned with the animated series than that horrendous The Last Airbender movie. It even appears that we’ll get flashbacks to when Fire Lord Sozin ordered the attack on the Air Nomads and began the Hundred Year War. It’ll be interesting to see what remains the same and what is changed.

Found this in the article on Collider. The dragon is definitely a descendant of Toothless and the Light Fury. However, I wonder if this kid is a Hiccup and Astrid descendant.
