A new chapter of Vantage Point has been posted. Rick makes a promise to Michonne that kicks off their road to vengeance against Negan. Michonne gives Rick a clue that could help him crack both his cases.

(I know I said I’d go into Negan phase by now, but I just had to get this out first!)

A/N: This is a one-shot told from Rick’s POV. I hope you enjoy and as always, thanks for reading.

I liked her style. She walked into my studio with blue jean overalls and a plaid black and white shirt worn over top of them. A red lace bra could be seen poking from underneath. It wasn’t a form-fitting, skin tight, pair of overalls either. She looked like she was from the 90’s. Her eyes were expressive and danced around my studio with interest. I was interested in her. It was my first time seeing her face to face. We had only spoken on the phone briefly.

“I’m glad you decided to do this, Michonne. Not many people who answered the ad from the art school wanted to pose nude, but it’s the only way the thing is gonna work. I’ve been seeing these images in my mind for days,” I told her excitedly. And I had. When I worked on something it consumed me. I thought about it day and night.

She shrugged her shoulders like it wasn’t a big deal. That made me hopeful. Like I said before, I liked her style, her look. It was unique without being unique at all. Suddenly, the images I had for the shoot were turning into something else. It was becoming something better.

“I need the money to help with next semester, and I get Art and the Artist who makes it. I love Art. I don’t mind what you’re trying to do. It seems dope,” she told me with a reassuring nod. That made me nod my head along with her as I fiddled with my camera. I’m glad she got it. I’m glad this wasn’t going to be weird or awkward.

“Well, we should get this started. I have somewhere to get to afterwards,” she said cheerily, looking around. “So how do you want to do this?” she asked me. The question confused me for just a second. My mind went completely blank. Images of her unhurriedly disrobing right now made me stare at her for longer than I should. I was thinking, I hope she doesn’t think I’m a creep. I was also thinking, she should get naked. Now.

“Let’s take a couple of test shots,” I told her. She nodded her head and asked where she could sit her things.

“The table over there is cool,” I said pointing to a round glass side table. We were in my small studio apartment that I was renting in Brooklyn. The walls were stark white and large paintings I had done myself were scattered randomly on them. She sat her things down and slowly walked my studio. Her hands skimmed along the wall as she found a painting she really liked, and stopped to look at it. I grabbed my camera and took the cap off the lens, focusing on random objects until I found her. One painting caught her eye and she started asking me various questions. Breaking the ice, you could say. She took her plaid shirt off, tossing it onto the couch. I took my turn at asking questions.

“You ever model before?” I asked her. She had the face for it. I’m pretty sure under all that baggy denim she had an amazing body. Her arms and shoulders looked great and her skin was the best canvas. So blank and like chocolate. All colors would look good on her.

Chapter 7 is up. 8 might take a little longer due to work commitments, but it won’t take too long…

I promise i hate that im moving so slow. But I have one more chapter of Eat Pray Love Again to complete. I gotta wrap up some loose ends but I’ve already began typing.

8 Days at the Kingdom… good lord I wish I could finish the rest of it in one sitting. I love writing it I just never have the proper time to. I still need to get my laptop fixed.

A/N: Rick and Michonne “clean-up” on their first visit to the Hilltop. Rick makes up for lost time.

“You won’t find it,” Michonne challenged, a small smirk gracing her lips.

“No?” Rick was determined, his fingers trailing over her limbs. She giggled lightly, a new sound to his ears, one he already craved.

“We’re supposed to be cleaning up,” she chided, making no move to stop his quest.

“It can wait,” Rick continued his exploration, dusting his hands up her legs. Michonne’s hands made their way into his hair.

“They’re going to wonder what’s taking so long,” she sighed, her protest halfhearted.

“They interrupted us this morning,” he was unconcerned with what these people thought of him.

“You could wait until tonight,” she suggested, even as she turned in his arms, arching her back.

“Where’s the fun in that?” Rick grinned salaciously, he worked his palms beneath her clothing, one sliding up to cup her, the other moving under her waistband. His fingers brushed the skin on her upper thighs and she jerked. “Found it,” he teased, doubling his efforts.

She began to giggle in earnest, attempting to twist away from him as he tickled her. “You win,” she swatted at him, smiling brightly.

“Do you want me to stop?” he asked, tilting his head.

Michonne glanced to the door. With a mischievous smile, she reached out, jiggling the handle, checking that it was locked. “Don’t stop,” she instructed, biting her lip.

Baker’s Dozen - Traffic Stop AU Part 3

“Well, there they go,” Michonne laughed as Andre and Judith took off running for the playground the second their respective parents let go of their hands.

She and Rick sat down on a bench in the shade where they could keep an eye on the kids. Rick let out a sigh of relaxation, stretching his arms out along the back of the bench and tilting his head back to enjoy the clear blue sky.

“Long day at work?” Michonne asked, eyebrow raised.

Rick turned to her and said, “This guy hijacked a truck. He was like a ninja or something and it took all morning to catch him. And then the truck? After all that, it rolled into a lake.”

“Wow, that was definitely more exciting than my morning,” Michonne said.

“The chase was exciting, but oh man, the paperwork is going to be a nightmare,” Rick rubbed a hand over his face, “I just want to turn my brain off for a while.”

Michonne regarded him thoughtfully. She was trying to figure him out but every time she thought she had a read on him, he did something different.

He was undeniably handsome but he didn’t carry himself with the arrogance of a man who knew how good looking he was. He was comfortable talking to her but didn’t feel the need to fill every second with chatter. And, the other day, he had acted impervious to her obvious attempts at flirtation and yet handed her a warning when she rightly deserved a ticket.

Now, sitting beside her on a park bench watching their kids dig in the sandbox as if this was something they did all the time, he smiled at her.

“Thank you for suggesting this. Judith is usually a bit shy, but she’s really warmed up to Andre,” Rick said.

Michonne smiled back. She found herself telling him about how it’d been adjusting to small town life and before she knew it the shadows were growing long and the kids were back, grumbling about being hungry.

It was time to go home, but something told Michonne not to let this moment slip by.

“So,” she said, “same time, same place next week?”

“Absolutely,” Rick said.
