In a discord server with some friends, I roleplay Snick! (From the seven dwarves, in twst!) So i made him a pfp!

Allergies: Nuts (anaphylactic), Pollen (asthma), Fur (asthma), lactose intolerant (not an allergy but whatever!) and while i do hc as epileptic too, i haven’t brought that into the server.
Since he cant keep most pets, he has a few pet snails, but mainly moss balls! He has names for them all! The snails technically live by his window, so he offers some fruits and snacks periodically.
He is the second youngest, and definitely can show his baby sibling behavior at times! Has a habit of “overseeing” chores instead of doing them.
Like Idia, he doesnt always go to class because of his sicknesses causing issues. So he is a home body, and quite shy. But! Online he is a friendly bean, hoping to make friends! He plays animal crossing, and heartopia, etc.
He does yarn and fabric work! Since he doesnt always have the energy to run off and do things, sometimes he sits back, listens to a true crime podcast, and knits or crochets. (He will sometimes charm his yarn and make a protective sweater or scarf for you!)
In server, the dwarves parents passed on when Snick was quite young, so he doesnt remember much of them, EXCEPT he does remember them putting a scarf on him every time he went out! How warm and safe he felt in the scarf being lovingly tied around him. (His scarf was originally his mother’s). Because of this, Dominic, Grum and Timmy (who we decided were the oldest) stepped up and basically became the parents.
While snick doesnt remember his parents much, he remembers his brothers! Who he loves all dearly! (And when Neige came around he felt like a very big brother! Haha!)

1. You infantilize everyone who's ever read anything ever. Assuming we can't tell what would be harmful and what would be fun for our jelly like brains to indulge in when bored and needing stimuli.
2. If you read something fictional, and see it as an instruction to do said things in real life, where real people will be hurt, you are the problem in that equation. You were going to do that all along and want to pull a Ted Bundy and blame media rather than your own actions.
3. Don't come crying when fics and art are no longer being made, because everything will be seen as icky and problematic, over fictional scenarios that adults consent to read and engage in. Being a puritan in fandom, is what will kill fandom, full stop.
Does that mean you go out and make yourself uncomfortable? No. The real world doesn't revolve around you and your comforts, but you have the power to create a space for yourself to enjoy what you want.
I will never be on the side of censorship. But that doesn't mean I want to engage with anything I read in a dark fictional sense in real life. I read and write what I like because I simply like exploring those topics, for fun and for more creative writing exercises.
The brain likes to make up dumb scenarios to have fun with like when we used to cut up barbie dolls and make dramatic stories with them. Ages gaps, Incest, Stalkers, Rape and other horrific issues that happen in real life, have no impact on a character who does not exist. If I stab myself in a story, that wound only exists in that void, and nothing more.
You're allowed to be squicked, you're allowed to avoid these triggers, and you're allowed to want to curate your tags and page to your taste. You aren't allowed to go out of your way to threaten, dox, and harass people, including me, who aren't hurting anyone, and have posts tagged properly.
Fandom is dying because you refuse to learn basic understandings of writing and art, along with basic fandom etiquette.
