In-Class drawing activity week 4. My most solid drawing so far in this class. I’m glad I’m starting to clean up my lines. walruses are freaking adorable.

when you use a pretty current picture of yourself to practice shading and pens, but make youself prettier than you actually are.

All these distractions. I really ought to focus on my homework. Doodle habit of doom. I can’t wait for the weather to finally start to cool down.

When you can’t focus on your homework assignment for the life of you and decide to sketch instead. Here’s to Fall!

In-class drawing week two. I really love that there are four different textures on this plant. It helps it pop really nice. Cactus drawings are quite fun. Distracting, but fun.

In-Class Plant Drawing Part 2.Palm-Style little tree thing and the lavender-ish-looking plant. Getting the plant more consistent and less sloppy. Baby steps i guess.

Homework assignments week one. Some progress. But geez do I get carried away with details in the focal points. A slight step away from the detail frenzy from the first tree, but fun.

Lesson learned: CALM DOWN.
