To get this out of the way, I loved the mixed media incorporated throughout. I had no idea it was super prevalent in RUBATO and I feel it made it very charming! When it shifted to Tony's perspective and we got to see his life, play as him, find out about the "project", I was so engrossed that even I was unnerved when shooting at the monstrous beings. Above all though, what spoke to me were the headstrong themes of self. It's crazy because I have a bunch of scrambled thoughts about that subject. I wanted to face them in my own work eventually, too. I'll spare you the details regarding myself, but auhh. Augh. Higher Management trying to place Rubato in a role to conform to. The "weapon", the "woman", the "extension to someone else". But Rubato is Rubato and even if he does not know who he fully is, only he can get to decide that for himself! The same goes for Mist/Maia, Hugo, Tony, Mikey, Bernie, and everyone else! No matter how difficult it may be.

In any case, discoveries sure can be exploited, huh? It can be one big exhausting cycle of hurt all for gathering "resources", "money"... But you have to live to see yourself survive through it all. After all, you can not be defined by monetary value and "data" alone. We are ever changing. Tomorrow can be better.
