Additional Details:
🩷 Born & raised on Popstar for most of his life, named for his early love of food & cooking (as well as the time in his infancy when his parents found him napping in a bread bowl)
💛 Learned how to cook under his mother’s guidance & saw his first live cooking show as a child, vowing to become a world-class chef just like the one on stage
🩷 Lived a largely uneventful life until an opportunity arose to show his skills to his culinary idol, Chef Kawasaki Sr., who - after a bit of convincing - agreed to take him on as an apprentice
💛 Trained for a time with Chef Kawasaki, learning plenty & even earning the title Baker Waddle Dee, until he was sent on a “journey of culinary discovery” (which mainly resulted in him getting very enthusiastically lost)
🩷 Met Medee while he was stranded in Floralia, finding unexpected camaraderie & forming a relationship with her over time
💛 Heard Medee’s growing concern over the changes happening in the Floralian royal government, not sure of the specifics himself but more than willing to help his partner (& only some of her family) move down to Green Greens
🩷 Settled gingerly (if somewhat clumsily) into their new life together, building a home, starting a shared business, even getting married & having (more than a few) kids
🩷 Sweet, happy-go-lucky, & familial, with a rather skittish heart & an easily-distracted mind (or, to the unkind, an utterly oblivious one)
💛 Runs the local bakery alongside his wife’s apothocary, providing meals for potlucks, holidays, & other events, regularly filling the village with the wind-carried scents of sugar & spices (Bebebe might be his most regular customer)
🩷 Couldn’t be happier with being a father, embracing his new responsibility with gusto & enthusiasm (wondering why Medee doesn’t always feel the same)
💛 Like to entertain the neighborhood children with jokes, silly stories, & slapstick pantomime (much to the groans & stifled giggles of all in attendance)
