Quick trip to The City for a birthday celebration. Spotted these cool scenes when I looked up to the sky!

Celebrating with family on an enclosed patio at Pier 7 on The Embarcadero with sweeping views of the Bay Bridge as the moon rises over it. Amazing… wish I had a better camera! I dined on short ribs, mashed potatoes and veggies with a Pomegranate Paloma and a Piña Colada (cuz I love rum). This place makes great food and perfect drinks!

Took a drive along the coast on Highway 1, on Christmas Day. I came across a beautiful lookout point, along with a strange building covered in graffiti. This builidng was once a bunker at Devil’s Peak and was originally built during World War II as a triangulation and observing station. A watcher equipped with binoculars would keep watch out at sea and if they spotted enemy ships would radio a massive gun not far away which would sink them before they got close. The station became obsolete and the entire site was abandoned in 1949.

Needed to get out of the house for some fresh air. Hopped in my car and ended up here at Holy Cross Cemetary, visiting my father on Christmas Day. This was my first stop. I was so close to the ocean, not to make a drive up the coast my stop #2!
