Millions of people have decided not to be sensitive. They have grown thick skins around themselves just to avoid being hurt by anybody. But it is at great cost. Nobody can hurt them, but nobody can make them happy either.

Don’t criticize what you can’t understand.

People think being alone makes you lonely, but I don’t think that’s true. Being surrounded by the wrong people is the loneliest thing in the world.

O mais assustador nisso tudo é que eu estou calmo. Deveria estar quebrando algo, arrancando alguns fios de cabelo, talvez. Deixar o desespero dominar, explodir para o mundo, quem sabe. Porém nenhuma reação sequer. Enquanto eu demonstro o que sinto, tudo é muito previsível. Mas quando não sei expor, nada mais sou do que uma bomba relógio sem contagem exata. Eu não me preocupo com quem sou agora, estou preocupado com quem posso vir a ser. Não tenho medo do meu silêncio, tenho medo das minhas palavras por dentro.
