the theories that the show takes place like right after/during the accident can be cool however canonically the show we’re seeing takes place several years after the accident and once u think abt it for a bit it makes sense. like how would we be seeing pictures of newspapers about an accident that just happened. and karnak says “they named a meal after your passing” instead of “they *will name* a meal after your passing”. and i think it’s more interesting but that’s just me
