Fellas is it gay to use your friends warm big hands to ease you pain without asking because you're too tired and also at this point you're so comfortable with him that you don't even think about it?

When he first arrived in the cult, Hastur barely spoke to anyone. He was in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by unfamiliar people, and was just basically kidnapped by the harbinger of the end times, so to say he wasn't too keen to socialize was an understatement.

That was until he met Fear, who refused to let the man isolate himself, even if he didn't even get his name until a few days later.

"Fair enough. Hastur." "Fear." "... You're joking."

The two end up bonding more over their unusual names, and eventually the two of them became friends that persisted after Hastur decided to stay. Neither of them shared the same views, but they could agree that staying in the Cult was safer than going out into the lands of the Old Faith while the Bishops were still alive.

And then there was the first Rite that spawned Goldie, which at the time no one knew what was going to come out of that egg, so they stuck together to keep an eye on it. While they were "will they won't they" friends before Goldie came into the picture, it turned into "oh they definitely did" around this time.

Where their bond fell apart was caused by a few factors:

One wanted to reclaim his autonomy, away from divine influences, and started to become more closed off and cold; the other wanted to remain subservient to the Lamb to the point that he'd bend over backwards for them, while also letting his own fears and anxieties rule over his life and those around him.

Both of them still had a small part of them that was saying "do I actually care for you or am I using you as some sort of escape/replacement"

Hastur ended up seeing Leshy long after he and Fear broke it off, which I mean... Your ex starts seeing the guy who literally allowed the ritualistic sacrifice of your entire family and countless others. I'd be pretty pissed too, ngl

There is a fourth factor, but while they were involved it, it wasn't their fault.

Maybe partially their fault - they really hate that fucking hare.

But despite all of this, there is a part of Hastur and Fear that still care for each other.

I saw a few, it's cute! I assumed it was a few friends having fun. I wouldn't do it either way because I'm bad at following trends on time I'm pretty hectic with what I draw. I have a hard time planning what I draw or not draw. I would pick lemons cause I drew Lambie biting one a long time ago.
