Three quick things I just wanna put out there

Thor's last mention of SKG was 10 months ahead of Ross' takedown video. He had not been pushing against SKG outside of those two initial videos

Thor basically made three social media posts about SKG after Ross' video, expressing very negative emotions. Two of them were not okay. Note the general radio silence since that. (I haven't been watching his stream and I wouldn't doubt you if you linked a clip of him saying more about SKG on stream.)

Over half of Ross' video that sparked all of this was spent 'responding to Pirate Software' and blaming his videos for killing SKG. I hadn't heard much about SKG until two weeks ago, and I hadn't seen either of Thor's videos despite being subscribed during that time. I don't think anything resembling a majority really agreed with Thor even at that time. Thor does get a lot wrong about SKG in his videos, but yk.

I will give Ross credit for his short update video, offering an indirect truce. He tells his supporters not to harass Thor, absolves him from any future blame, and says "If Thor and I never bother each other again, that is just fine by me." Watch here from 4:42 for context.

I've seen people saying Ludwig is ''in on it," despite the fact that Ludwig publicly supports SKG.

I could discuss each individual point against Thor if you all want my receipts, and I have theories on why he doesn't like SKG if you wanna see those. Feel free to come at me with your own receipts if you have good points.

now that the Switch 2 patents are out we can see a lot more about nintendo's playbook, and frankly its more than I expected.

I was worried that the S2 would just be a more powerful version of the switch, which was needed, but kinda boring: they are certainly innovating in the console space, though. not only can you use joycons as mice, but the pro controller can split in two and be used to 'dual mouse.' this is a wild new control scheme. I can imagine dual mousing TBOI:R, or using J+M controls for Splatoon 3.
