Day 31 - Free Day (Kai and Tyson)

BAY CITY, JAPAN, Fall 2002

It was a rare Saturday off. Max was working in his Dad's shop, Rei was helping Mr. Dickenson, and Kenny was being forced into socializing with his family. It was an opportunity for Tyson to be alone with his.... whatever Kai was. Not boyfriend. No, they were not boyfriends. But Tyson intended to take full advantage of it. So he'd invited the older boy over to play video games. He'd made them lunch and they'd retreated to Tyson's bedroom. Kai made sure to lock the door.

They were half an hour into Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Tyson was winning again. Kai just didn't get the controls. His strategy was more hit-all-the-buttons. “I hate this game.”

“Because I'm continuously kicking your ass,” Tyson told him smugly.

Kai was getting better, it was taking Tyson longer and longer to beat him. Kai timed it. When they were both almost out of health he leaned over and bit the blunette's neck.

Tyson yelped and Kai took his chance to mash on all the controls until Tyson's fighter was rendered the loser.

“I win.”

“Cheater.” Tyson rubbed his neck.

“I didn't cheat. I just exploited your weakness. It's the most effective strategy in battles.”

Tyson felt a smile on his lips. Kai could be so cute sometimes. Yanking the controller out of Kai's hands, he leaned forward and kissed him teasingly. “What other weaknesses do I have?”

“I could write a book about them.”

“Yeah, because they all have to do with you.”

Kai who's just never had a crush before Takao.

Takao who's only ever thought of woman, and never gave men a thought.

just having these new and weird feelings, alarming thought about their teammates. faces red. bodies feeling hot. lingering glances.

I got a meme request from @4end with regard to the Snickers meme and Kai’s grandpa. I’ve mashed up the anime version of him with the Beyblade Rising manga version of him. Hope this is satisfactory @4end?
