# 𝐊𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐓𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐈 --- 𝐒𝐀𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐄 𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐇𝐀 - 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐓

so amidst my revamping and long overdue spring cleaning of this blog. a thought occured to me at work which frankly should have come sooner, but the way the series paints naruto’s support system compared to sasukes is just depressing. yes while i do understand that he is the protaganist and sasuke is considered one of the protagonists ( as far as part one is concerned ) while i will argue that eventually sasuke is a deuteragonist and antagonist. though it’s made a point even in the beginnings of part one that nartuo had the likes of iruka, in the anime the friendship of shikamaru, choji, and kiba is another one. though by that point this is after the massacare where sasuke isn’t interested in friendship, being coddled, or anything remotley as to what naruto has. naruto eventually gets jiraiya. sasuke by this point had slowly built a family with team seven, he cared for them enough to put himself in harms way. nearly giving his life for both naruto and sakura on a dozen occasions. yet it isn’t anything complete, or something i feel sasuke could compare. not that i myself or he would be comparing, but simply. naruto had all these people. even on occasion as indicated in the anime ( not the manga ) that hiruzen sometimes showed up and checked on him. sasuke is seemingly left to his own devices. it’s all part of the story and i understand that, but there is a scene in the final fight between him and naruto where it shows all of those naruto has touched by his sunshine-like demeanor there aiding him in that final rasengan ( not literally there but you know what i mean ) and sasuke had no one. it’s intentional because sasuke had cut all ties he had and even in his youth wasn’t very well liked. it just breaks my heart because none of them ever truly understood sasuke. he’s only seen as a traitor who abandoned the village. a teenager with a nasty attitude who wanted to see his home burn for what it stripped from him. none of them can even fathom it or understand. is it any wonder why he doesn’t want to stay in konoha even after naruto brings him back? after he only returns for him? because he trusts only naruto? this isn’t to say he doesn’t feel any feelings towards sakura, but it’s all muddied and twisted under layers of anger. as for kakashi? his stance is very conflicted with his former mentor. but team seven is and will always be important to sasuke.

  i don’t think i will ever really be able to say or show how much ‘ naruto ‘ as a person means to sasuke, their two halfs of the same coin, brothers, rivals, reincarnated wills of aliens ( weird right ? ), each others ying and yang. whether it’s romantic or platonic? i’d genuinely say this much is true for my sasuke, but it also depends on the naruto, and their mun. sasuke would die for naruto and he’d most certainly kill for him, he’d rip the world from it’s foundations and set it all ablaze.
