Lesha's sibling Ave went missing. Cleo and them went searching for xe in the forever forest. Unfortunately for them, they didn't know what was in this forest. Meanwhile, Asta got a mission to search the forest because they got a tip from a scouter that there were sightings of a young child. After not finding anyone, they went home to their partner missing. The headguard returned to the forbidden forest in an attempt to find their love. However, in the woods, the veil that hides the village is extremely painful to anyone except dragonettes. Cleo passed through without noticing because their not alive anymore. Lesha wasn't too lucky. On top of that, their neckless was made with a plant that didn't interact well with the magic of the border. It broke, and chaos submerged.

Looks: they're pretty muscular with defined abs and biceps. They're a dragonette, so they have the usual dragon traits. Their horns are sea blue, and one of them has a broken tip, and both have cracks. They have a wingspan of about 3.5 meters total and about 1.5 meters in length. Their wings are blue with dark blue edges, and they have multiple scars and missing scales all over but mainly at the base. Their tail was also sea blue and had scars and missing spikes and scales. Their left eye had an x-shapped scar, blinding them on that eye. Their iris was grey. They wear a red bandana over their eyes because of this. They have a bit of an unshaved beard on their chin and jaw line. They have scars throughout their entire body except for their hands, feet, ankles, lower legs, and fore arms. They have M.S. carved into their inner thigh. They have messy black medium length hair. They normally wear a black hoodie with cargo pants. It's extremely rare to see them without that outfit or their bandana. They have a pretty deep voice. They look like they could kill you with no hesitation.

Likes: he loves to sleep and cuddle with his lover. He likes fish, and his favorite place to go is the aquarium. His favorite food is Greek yogurt with chocolate protein granola and dried cranberries. He also likes tuna melts and sushi. He loves to annoy his friends. He loves Asta romantically.

Dislikes: he doesn't really like people who stall or who ask too many questions. He hates repeating himself. He's insecure about his body, scars, and eyes. He hates it when people ask him about his bandana or his past. He can't have most meats and foods because of his sensory issues. He hates socializing and taking to people. He hates people in general. He absolutely hates taking pills.

Personality: he's pretty quiet and cuddly. He's very sleepy. He's kind yet rude and blunt. He's soft and a teddy bear. However, if needed, he is going for the kill.

Past pain

After a long day of guarding the barrier, Asta finally came home. It was an unusually hot day, so she was sweating a bit. She closed the woden door behind her before starting to take off her armor. She started with her pauldrons and then her breastplate. Her forearm cuffs and her armor skirt attachment were also quick to come off. She put up her layered medium length hair in a small bun before going to the kitchen to make herself some food. She played some music in her wireless headset. They were black with some swirly red lines across the top. Her horns were a bit in the way, but she managed. After eating, the head guard went up to her room to check if her lover was there. The door opened as she walked inside the room. On their shared bed, there laid Ansoni, watching his favorite movie again. He was in his dragon form while Asta was in her hybrid form. She climbed in bed and hugged him. The scientist was curled in a loose ball with his wings closed up. As she rested her body on his, he pushed her away. She was confused because he usually loved hugs and cuddling. He often went out of his way to cuddle her. Today, he outright pushed her away. She noticed a slight grey tint in his horns, wings, tail, and skin but decided that it might just be the lighting. That evening was very lonely for the poor woman. On his side, Ansoni was feeling pretty overstimulated and anxious. They fell asleep without any snuggles that night.

During the night, Ansoni was crying and moving in his sleep. He quickly woke up in a cold sweat, still reliving his nightmare. He didn't want to disturb his partner, so he did like usually does. He wiped his tears and went back to sleep. This happened last night, too. This time, he wasn't able to fall asleep. His pelvis and scars were figuratively going to kill him. When Malvric raped him a few years ago, he left permanent damage to his bones, making random pain like that. He finally fell asleep around four a.m.

The next morning, Asta woke up at seven and got ready for work. She had an important mission that she still didn't have details yet. She put on her outfit and her armor and left. She flew to the information board and looked for her name on the paper. She was given a small group and instructions on the mission. She and a few other guards were assigned to go outside the barrier to look for a missing child. They were given camping and survival supplies and resources. The party started their search about ten minutes after regrouping.

About an hour later, Ansoni's alarm rang, waking him up. His pelvis was hurting so much that he could barely walk. His mobility aids were on the other side of the room. He sat up weakly and slowly walked over to grab them. He went to the kitchen and grabbed an ice pack. He sat on the couch and placed it on his lower stomach. The pain was so intense that he was about to cry. He sometimes had flare-ups, but it was never this bad. He couldn't explain it, but he felt like Malvric was going to strike again. He thought back to his nightmare last night. It was still replaying in his head. His abuser's face, the way he did it, the blood, the knife, everything. His nightmares were exactly what happened that day. He decided to stay home. He neglected his need for sun time and barely ate.

Three days later, Asta came home from her mission. They had finally found the child. She was absolutely exhausted, so she quickly took off her armor and went to bed. Ansoni was also sleeping. She laid next to him and hugged him really tightly. She quickly noticed how unresponsive and grey he was. His horns, wings, and tail, which are normally blue, were almost completely colorless. He was also pretty pale. She turned him around and took off his red bandana from over his eyes. His eyes, which are normally black, were completely drained of color. He barely reacted to her taking off his bandana. He's insecure about the x-shapped scar on his left eye.

- Babe, have you gotten out at all since I left?

- No. My body hurt too much to do so. I'm sorry.

- You need to go outside! You're going kill yourself if you don't!

- ... ok..

She helped him stand up, and they went to the patio. He laid on the ground to try to get as much sun as possible. There was barely any left, tho. Once the sun set completely, she helped him get back to bed. She then went to grab his pain medication. She came back with a glass of water and two purple pills. After hesitating for a few seconds, he finally swallowed them. He tried not to remember his trauma related to pills, but the memories flooded his head. He's learned to tune them out temporarily. He laid down on his stomach while Asta laid on her side to cuddle him. He felt so comfortable yet overstimulated at the moment. He hugged her back, showing that he still cares.

The next day, at the break of dawn, she woke him up. They got ready for the day in comfortable clothing. They then went to the beach for maximum sun time. There was also the group of sick dragonettes on the sand at that time. For them, pure vitamin D is the best medicine. The couple changed into their dragon form and laid down in the sun. He was especially bland in this form while her magenta scales were glowing happily. They fell asleep under the sun soon after. When the sun was at its highest point, the loud bell rang, waking them up. It was the alarm for sun time. Soon after, the beach filled with colorful dragons basking in the sunlight. More were asleep while some of the younger ones were playing in the sand. After 2 hours, the bell rang again, meaning sun time was over. Some stayed while most returned to their duties.

Today, I will be explaining general information like the different types of creatures, life after death, religion, and the map.

The map:

Everything happens on a secluded island in the middle of the ocean called Kael'norr's. There are hundreds of miles separating the island and the nearest country. This island is pretty big, tho. There are some villages, but it's mostly forests. The whole island is surrounded by a cozy beach that leads to the ocean. The sand is warm and soft under your feet. Most of the land is covered with thick, mixed forests that inhabit many different creatures. From dragons to butterflies, you can find all sorts of wonders here. There is a village inhabited by dragonettes that is hidden from plain sight that is called Shallowcrest. It has a magic veil hiding it. In the village, there are tree houses up in the tall trees that are connected with woden bridges. There is a main area in the clearing that has a fire pit in the middle with multiple seating arrangements around it. The ground is covered with some soft grass. There is a flower bed next to the garden in the back, near the forest. On the opposite side, there is a lovely beach with a great view of the ocean. They beach is much bigger than the other ones on this island. In other villages, there are houses, guard towers, paths, walls, and regular things that you can find in a fantasy town. They're not really important, so they're very developed.

Religion and life after death:

They believe that when a person dies, if they have regrets or unfinished business, they become a ghost. Once their soul is at peace with themselves, they become a spirit and slowly decay from existence. However, if they die happy and peaceful, they get reincarnated in a living creature. When they get reincarnated into a plant or a non-conscious being, their soul is resting. They rest as their first reincarnation and then become a conscious being when they die again. They always alternate: animal, plant, animal, plant, etc. However, if you have regrets but are working on it, then you get trapped in the void. The void is basically a white plain where nothing exists. You become a demon guardian when you enter this real. There are other people there with the same fate as you. You typically stay until you are cleansed from regret and fade away from existence. In this universe, it doesn't matter if you were good or bad in your life. What matters is how you lived it. They also believe in gods and goddesses, but they aren't in control of what happens. Sometimes, they go down to interact with the mortals. Some even live among them. Their main god is Lucien.

Different types of creatures:

Dragonettes:

These people have three forms: human, hybrid, and dragon. Their dragon form varies from person to person, but they are usually about 2 meters long. From head to the tip of their tail. Their wingspan is about 3-4 meters long. They have spikes on their tails, backs, necks, and heads that are usually flat against their scales. When they are up, it means they are filled with a special poison that can either hurt you really bad, kill you, or paralyze you. Their scales are fire resistant and extremely hard to cut or break. They have horns that can't grow back if damaged or broken. They have sharp teeth that are good for doing anything with their mouth. Their eye color varies on emotions. Red means that they are angry. Purple means that they have their poisonous spikes ready. Black means that they are neutral. Yellow means that they are sad or uncomfortable. Blue means they are really happy or excited. Orange means they are in love or turned on. Finally, pink means they are in pain. They can be mixed. They can have different colored eyes, too. Some are able to control their eye colors. When they're sick, their scales get really dry and pale. This usually happens when they overuse their energy or don't get enough sleep. They need at least 16 hours daily to be healthy. At every season change, they start shedding their old scales to grow fresher ones. It's uncomfortable and irritating, but it's natural. This process can last anywhere from an hour to up to a week. Their dragon form doesn't use up any of their energy to stay in.

Their hybrid form is similar. Just like the name, they look like a human but have a spiked tail, big wings, horns, sharp teeth, and their eyes change color. There's not much to say about this form except that it also doesn't use up their energy to stay in and that its their main form.

Their human form is basically a human. They're in hiding. They don't have any of the dragon traits said before. It takes a lot of their energy to stay like this, and they often get sick after multiple hours of being a human.

They have sun time, which is basically a nap on the beach at noon. All of the dragonettes do this. They are very cuddly and love sleep. They don't really talk much or communicate with each other. However, they communicate verbally with loved ones. There are written instructions a bit everywhere for different reasons. Whether it's a job or a mission that has to be done or it can be the latest news. They love parties and have multiple a month. There are different jobs that they can have: runner, they scout the rest of Kael'norr's in search of other dragonettes, food, drinks, or supplies, healer, they help heal the injured with potions or medication, care taker, they take care of children or people who need help, guardian, they make sure that no one discovers their village, teacher, they teach, scientists, they research plants and phenomenons, and last but not least, chefs, they make all the food for the people. Their lord is Nyx. They are rejected and feared by most creatures outside of their village, but mostly meif'was. Most of them have many scars and much trauma. Their stomachs, chests, necks, and faces are pretty sensitive.

Dragonettes are based on autism and wings of fire.

Demon guardians:

Like I said earlier, demon guardians are people who got stuck in the void. Their job is to help humans accomplish their goals to eventually disappear from the face of the planet. They usually look like demons. Humans with horns, red wings, and a barded tail. Some are able to hide their demon traits while some can't. They don't choose who they help. They just get teleported down on earth. Other people can't see them, but the person who they are protecting can. Every guardian has their own story to tell. Some lived in the early 1600s while others lived in the 2000s. Most are pretty cheerful but are mentally unstable. None of them are truly ok on the inside. However, they are mostly teddy bears as people.

Demon guardians are based on guardian angels and ptsd.

Elves:

They are immortal people who connect with nature more than anything. They have different types of magicks but specialize in healing magicks. They are pretty kind and loving. They make excellent care takers and parents. However, because they have lived for so long, they have little to no emotions left. They usually live with other elves in their own villages.

Elves are based on the elves from diaries (aphmau) and BPD.

Soul seers:

Soul seers are people who can see auras around living creatures and notice heat signatures. The auras appear different depending on the creatures health. If they are striving, then their aura will appear more orange, while if they are sick or dying, their aura will appear more brown or grey. They typically live in human towns but help doctors a lot by helping them identify the problem. They are pretty rare.

Soul seers are based on schizophrenia.

Humans:

They are humans. There's nothing special about them.

Humans are based on blank notebooks.

Meif'was:

Meif'was are humans with cat-like ears and tail. They also have similar instincts.

Meif'was are based on cat therians.

Werewolves:

Werewolves are humans with wolf-like ears and tail. They have similar instincts. They can't have chocolate and are naturally stronger. they are often breaking windows and doors. They don't have an alpha. They usually live amongst humans.

Werewolves are based on ADHD and mystreet.

Gods and goddesses:

they are immortal beings who can live in the stars or on the island with the people. They can have their own powers and are allowed to use them. They can typically choose their size. In the stars, they are a lot bigger, and they shrink to a more normal size to live with the mortals.
