"كل الجِراحِ إذا داويتَها بَرِئت إلا الفِراقُ فجُرحٌ غيرُ مُلتئمِ".

“I will not think less of myself just because you do not know how to love me.”

“If you don’t get what you want, you suffer; if you get what you don’t want, you suffer; even when you get exactly what you want, you still suffer because you can’t hold on to it forever. Your mind is your predicament. It wants to be free of change. Free of pain, free of the obligations of life and death. But change is law and no amount of pretending will alter that reality.”

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله says,

‏يتقلّب حال المرء بين قُرب من الله وأُنس، وبُعد عنه ووَحشة، ولكن طوبى لمن رُزق بنفسٍ لوّامة لا تطيق العصيان، فسرعان ما تضيق النفس عند معصيته، ولا تنشرح إلا بالتوبة

"Congratulations to those who leave the world before it deserts them; to those who build their graves before they enter them; and to those who please their Lord before they meet Him."

"وإخلاص القلوب هو ما يهم."

Imam Ahmad رحمه الله said:

The prophet ﷺ said,

"أتمنى أن تجد ما تحتاجه روحك حقًا."

"لا تجعل هماً واحداً ينسيك ألفاً من النعم"
