Pluto

  (Scene opens up to Alec walking into the kitchen)

  Alec: Singing “Oh Breakfast burrito! I’m gonna eat yah. Oh breakfast burrito! I’m gonna eat yah!” While singing his song he walks over to the refrigerator and opens up the freezer. He reaches in for a burrito but nothing is there. “What the? WHERE ARE THE BURRITOS!?”

Sam: In his room asleep when he hears Alec scream he jumps out of bed “Woh! I was still sleeping” He starts nod off while standing. He walks out of his room and into the bathroom across the hall from his room. He turns on the lights and walks over to the sink “Ugh I guess I’ll get ready” He jumps up on a step stool. He opens his eyes and finds a small purplish blob like creature with long ears in the sink “oh sorry I didn’t notice the sink was taken” He hops back down then finally realizes what he just saw. A creature in his sink eating frozen burritos. “AHHHHH! WHAT THE HECK!?”

Alec: He comes running in “Why are you screaming?”

Sam: “There is something in the sink. Wait why are you screaming?”

Alec:“Someone ate all my burritos!” He walks over to the sink and sees the cute little creature eating his burritos “My…burritos!” in a sad voice “It’s eating all of my burritos.” He looks back at the creature and it looks up at him and makes a cute face

Pluto: “Plu!”

Alec: “AWWWWWW! He is adorable” Alec picks Pluto up and hugs him “I forgive the horrible actions you have committed against me and my beloved burritos.”

Sam: “What you like that thing?”

Alec: He turns to Sam “You don’t find him cute?”

Sam: “Not really…Wait how did he get in here?”

Pluto: “Plu plu plu…plu!”

Alec: “Pluto said he just walked in the front door”

Sam: “Wait you can understand him?”

Alec: He stops and thinks “Wait how did I understand him just then?” He freaks out and drops Pluto “Ahhh! What’s going on here?”

Pluto: “Plu plu! Plu”

Alec: “Ah that makes sense.”

Sam: “What does? Cause I’m lost as crap”

Alec: “He said anybody that touches him can understand him”

Sam: “Um that’s weird”

Alec: “Why don’t you give him a hug so you can understand him?”

Sam: “I don’t really trust that thing”

Pluto: His face becomes sad “plu”

Alec: “Sam! You upset him” Alec picks Pluto up again and walks out of the bathroom “Come on Pluto lets go make some waffles!”

Pluto: “PLU!”

  (The three enter the kitchen. Alec grabs a stool and places it next to him by the stove. He places Pluto on the stool and they begin making waffles batter. Sam sits on a stool by the bar and watches)

  Sam: “I don’t know why you’re spending time with the monster that ate all the breakfast burritos.”

Alec: “Because I think he is cute and besides you can’t say much you let anybody stay here it’s like a halfway house for intergalactic creatures”

Sam: “I do not” just then a bipedal brown rabbit wearing a neck brace, yellow robe, yellow bunny slippers and holding a coffee mug that says “%*&# Mornings” walks into the kitchen

Alec and Sam: “Hey Frank”

Frank “eh” He walks over to the coffee pot and begins pouring himself a some

Alec: “See! Pluto hand me the flour”

Pluto: “PLU!”

Sam: “Frank is cool we’ve tons of fun with Frank and he doesn’t stay here that much” Just then a lightning bolt comes through the kitchen and hits the counter with a bright flash. Sitting on the counter is a light blue cat with a zigzag pattern on it looks up and meows

Alec, Sam, and Frank: “Morning Lightning Cat”

Lightning Cat” Meow!”

Sam: He gets off the stool and walks over to the fridge and grabs some milk “These guys are friends we have history together. Pluto is just a weird creature that was eating burritos in my sink.” He pours some milk into a bowl and gives it to lightning cat

Alec: “I still think you are being too harsh on Pluto” as he is talking a purple and green tentacle comes from off screen and into the kitchen. It opens the fridge grabs some orange juice and carries it off screen

Sam: “Ok we get it!” He slings his hands in the air “Ok fine I have let a lot of people stay it’s just he gives me a weird vibe”

Frank: “That thing is freaking adorable Sam” He walks off out of screen

Lightning Cat: “Meow Meow!” He turns into lightning and jolts off

Sam: “Is everyone against me”

Alec: laughing some “Ha-ha, it looks so” He is helping Pluto pour the batter in a waffle iron

Sam: “I’ll go ask Pitfall he knows what’s up” he walks off screen.

Alec: “Whatever man” He is taking a waffle out of the iron and pouring more into.

  (Sam is walking up to the fire pit. He sits down on one of the pillows)

  Sam: “Pitfall what’s going on man?”

 Pitfall: The fire pit lights up “Ah morning honey how’s it hanging”

Sam: “It’s going bad pit. Alec has a new friend and is hogging all the brotherly love.”

Pitfall: “Hey man he aint replacing you. That little blob is cute is can be baby”

Sam: “Ahh FRACK. Is everyone in love that thing?”

Pitfall: “Yeah I think so”

Sam: “Did you see him come in through the portal?”

Pitfall: “Hold up player you got me thinking. I haven’t let anyone in…That means he came from outside!”

Sam: “What no way. I didn’t think things were living outside our little oasis”

Pitfall: “He must be something special”

Space Pirate Clare: “You’re right he is special and we would like him back!” She stands at the Forts tent opening. She is a light green has long black hair and purple eyes. She is wearing what looks to be leather pirate’s jacket, a blue shirt and capris. She is accompanied by two large aliens of her species. “Where is that loveable blob? We saw him come this way and your little hideout is the only place around this disaster of a planet”

Pitfall: “OH NO baby we have intruders!” A loud beeping sound goes off.

Alec: He runs into the room with Pluto on his back “What’s going on guys?” He turns and sees the aliens. “AH! That’s what’s going on!”

SP Clare: “That’s my little Pluto!”

Pluto: He is shaking “plu?”

Alec: “I don’t think he likes you lady! So if you would kindly leave that would be nice!”

SP Clare: She draws her pistol “Oh I’ll be leaving but with my sweet little PluPlu!” She fires a shot at Alec and it stuns him.

Sam: “BRO!” He runs over to Alec “Man this little guy isn’t worth your life!”

Alec: Lying still on the ground not able to move he musters up with strength to talk “All friends are worth fighting for. Even if things are gloomy. You taught me that”

Sam: “I know that was in the first episode.” He says softly to Alec. “You’re right buddy!” He stands up and turns to the pirates “You three jack holes are going down!”

Pluto: He slides over to Sam “Plu!”

Sam: “You wanna help too?”

Pluto: “Plu”

Sam: “Alright little guy if you think you got it in you! Let’s stomp these ugly space pirates’ butts!”

Pluto: “PLU!” He transforms into a shield

Sam: Starry eyed looks at Pluto “YOU ARE AMAZING!” he grabs Pluto and presses on his hat (Which says Dance Playa) his sword comes out of the hat. “Alright SLAMAJAM! Let’s do this!” Sam runs towards Clare

SP Clare: She shoots Sam and stuns him

Sam: as he falls to the ground “Ah crap”

SP Clare: She walks over to Sam “You guys are morons”

Lightning Cat: A flash of light appears next to Clare “Meow!”

SP Clare: “AWW aren’t you adorable! I’ll be taking you too”

Lightning Cat: He glows bright “Meow!” He shocks Clare

SP Clare: “Ahhhh!” She falls over unconscious

Space Pirates: “Boss!” They begin to run over to Clare

Frank: He appears in front of the two large Pirates. He is wearing a kimono and has two Katana drawn. He slowly walks past the pirates as if they weren’t there. “Say goodnight”

Space Pirates: “What are” They stop mid-sentence as they have just been cut in half.

Frank: He sheathes his two katana and runs over to Alec and Sam “You two aright?”

Alec: The effects of the stun gun are wearing off “Yeah I’m doing alright” He says in a daze as he slowly stands up. He walks over to Sam, Pluto, and Lightning Cat.

  (In the background you can see a purple tentacle slowly wrap around Clare and slowly drag her off screen.)

  Alec: “Sam You doing alright?”

Sam: He is slowly coming back from being stunned “Yeah…I think I’ll live”

Pluto: He gives Sam a hug “PLU!”

Alec: “Look he is glad you are better”

Sam: He slowly stands up. He pats Pluto on the head “I’m beginning to like this little fellow.”

Pluto: He has a very large smile “PA-LU!”

Alec: “Yeah he definitely likes you haha”

Sam: “Well I like the little guy too. Now let’s go make a super slammin breakfast!”

Pluto: “PLU!”

Alec and Sam: “Haha you got it Pluto!” They both walk off screen towards the kitchen with Frank and Lightning Cat behind them

Pluto: He slowly slides over to the fire pit. “Plu”

Pitfall: “What is it baby?”

Pluto: “Plu plu plu!”

Pitfall: “Why are you interested in that planet?”

My Misadventures in VollaHolla

Script draft 1

    Pilot

  (Scene opens up on a giant tree with a blanket tent tied to it this is “the Fort” The home of Alec and Sam the Man. The sun is coming up and the day looks fresh. Zoom into the tent and inside is much larger than the outside. It has a large open area with a fire pit in the middle with pillows surround the pit. The inside has four levels to it with rope swings and rope ladders leading to the different levels. The camera zooms up to the forth level and down the right hallway to a room. Inside the room looks like a typical teenage boys room. There are dirty clothes on the floor next to a dresser as well as a purple hiking backpack. A TV with video games. Posters of half nude chicks, videogames, and superheroes. On the dresser there is a lamp and a hookah. Hanging from the ceiling is an extra-large hammock with a eighteen year old boy in it asleep. Pan to the floor and a blue beach ball sized creature is standing below the hammock. He is wearing a trucker hat that says “Get Fresh” he has big eyes, small bump nose, and a large mouth. His mouth is open in a smile he has one gold tooth. He has short shaggy hair that goes into sideburns and small chin strip. This is Sam the Man.)

  SAM: “Get up!” Sam yells at the boy in the hammock

Alec: He tosses and turns giving only a grunt “Uh”

Sam: He points to Alec “Don’t make me come up there!”

Alec: He rolls over and faces Sam a hand pops out of the covers and flicks Sam off “I dare you” in a sleepy and groggy voice

Sam: “oh that’s IT!” Sam jumps up and grabs onto the hammock. He climbs up over the side and into the hammock with Alec. “Prepare to be woke!” he starts slapping Alec in the head

Alec: He pops his head out from the covers “You are so dead Sam!” Alec kicks the covers off of him and onto the floor. Sam falls with the covers.

Sam: He hits the floor “Ufah” He stands up “Alec! YOU ARE DEAD!”

Alec: Just then Alec jumps down in just his boxers onto the floor with Sam “Bring it on little man!”

(A clock alarm goes off)

  Alec: “Wait is it 9 already?” Stops and looks at the clock

Sam: “Yes and its Monday!”

Sam and Alec: “MONDAY MORNING DONUT DAY!” They jump up into the air

Alec: “Heck yes!”

Sam: “That’s why I was trying to get you up bro”

Alec: He walks over to his dresser “Sorry for being a total Zonk-head”

Sam: “All is forgiven buddy cause it’s DONUT DAY! Whoop Whoop!” He puts his hands up in the air

Alec: He is putting on clothes. He puts on a white t-shirt that says Cool Cat on it as well as a pair of tan cargo shorts with large pockets. “Oh man I can’t wait to get some donuts” He says as he puts on his shoes

  (The two walk out of Alec’s room and into the hallway. They get to the end of the hallway that leads to a slide. They jump on the slide and take it to the first floor. They walk over to the fire pit)

  Alec: “Morning Pitfall”

Pitfall: The fire pit catches fire and a big flame shoots up “What’s crackin’ baby!” A face shows up in the fire

Sam: “Its MONDAY MORNING DONUT DAY!”

Pitfall: “Oh dang its already Monday at least its donut day! Let me guess you wanna portal to town?”

Sam: “You know it Pitfall!”

Pitfall: “Alright brothers coming right up!” The fire opens up into a magic portal. Alec and Sam jump in “Have a safe trip now!”

  (In Town)

(A portal opens up in an alleyway Alec and Sam walk through the portal. The portal closes and a piece of coal drops out. Alec picks up the coal and places it in his left pocket. They walk out of the alleyway and on to the sidewalk)

  Alec and Sam: They begin to walk down the street. As they walk down the street they begin to sing “We gonna get some donuts. That’s a fact! We gonna eat some donuts. You tell’em Jack. It’s Monday morning donut day.”

Sam: He stops Alec and points a hot girl walking down the street “Hold up she has a nice Rack! OOOOOOOO!”

Alec: “Nice!” He high fives Sam and the two keep walking down the street

  (As they walk down the street a small motorcycle rides up next to them. Riding the motorcycle is a large dog like creature wearing only tighty whities and a sweat band on each wrist. He has a bleach blond mullet and gauges in his ear. He has a very bad spray on tan and has a small penguin with an afro on his back. The two yell at Alec and Sam.)

  Shorty: “Hey dorks!”

Alec and Sam: “Hey Brutus, Hey Shorty” They stop walking to turn and face Brutus and Shorty

Brutus: In a low and quiet voice “What are you guys doing?”

Alec: “What? Speak up Brutus!”

Brutus: in the same low and quiet voice “I said what are you guys doing?”

Shorty: He smacks Brutus in the head “Stop talking they can’t hear you”

Brutus: “Awww” He lowers his head

Alec and Sam: They start to laugh

Shorty: “Shut up you two. What Brutus was trying to say was what are you two doing?”

Sam: “Frack off Shorty can’t you see its”

Alec and Sam: “MONDAY MORNING DONUT DAY!” the two high five and start to walk away

Shorty: “Uh don’t just walk away from us!”

Brutus: “I don’t think they care Shorty”

Shorty: “UGH whatever lets ride Brutus” They take off down the road

  (Alec and Sam keep walking down the street)

  Sam: “Those two get on my nerves man”

Alec: “I like Brutus he seems nice. Shorty is the problem.” The donut shop becomes visible “Oh all that is holy!” a beam of light shines on the donut shop

Sam: “It’s about to go down!” he takes off running towards the shop with Alec close behind. They get to the door and walk inside. The smell of fresh donuts is in the air it knocks them to the floor.

Alec and Sam: “OH GAWD!”

Sam: He stands up and looks over at the counter. A lovely girl is work at the counter she sees Sam and Alec and cutely laughs “Oh check it dude it’s that cute girl you like!”

Alec: He stands up and looks. His heart starts to race and his eyes turn into hearts “Amber!” in his mind he pictures them running into each other’s arms and kissing. Then he imagines them getting married then having babies

Sam: “Dude snap out of it!” He snaps his fingers

Alec: He comes to and shakes his head

Sam: “If you’re vibing on her so hard just talk to her and this time don’t throw up like the first time you met her!”

  (Flashback)

(Alec and Sam stand at the counter.)

  Amber: “Hello can I take your order”

Alec: he looks into her eyes then his stomach rumbles. He gags then closes his mouth as vomit fills it up. “Humph…hhmmph” He runs off to the bathroom while Sam rolls around the floor laughing

  (Back to present time)

  Sam: He is rolling around on the floor laughing “HahahahA”

Alec: “Shut up! This time will be different” He kicks Sam as he rolls by him

Sam: “Hey!” He stands up

  (They walk to the counter)

  Amber: “Hey guys! Monday morning donut day right?”

Alec: He shakes his head yes

Sam: “What my pal is trying to say is he thinks you are more rad then the Fifth moon of Gorlok during Zurk-Brak”

Amber: Looks a little fluttered “Oh…hee…hee”

Alec: He begins to talk really fast “HiIReallyLikeYouAndIThinkYouHaveACuteSmileWeShouldTotallyGetTogtherSomeTime…” He begins to breathe hard

Sam: “I don’t know if she got that…HAHAHA”

Amber: “Umm…Can I take your order…?” She nervously ask trying to avoid the question

Alec: A loud shatter is heard has his “Heart” breaks. He looks down and a dark cloud forms over him and starts raining on him

Sam: “Ew…Ouch…We’ll take four cream filled”

(Sam walks to a booth and sits down. Alec slowly walks over to the table and falls into the booth. The cloud is still raining on him and a few lightning bolts go off. He makes a huge sigh then slowly sits up. Sam is looking at him with concern)

  Sam: “Hey man, it’ll be alright. Plenty of fish in the sea and that type of stuff” He says as he stuffs his mouth with a donut “Beesize…dunt…ufh…omnomnom” He swallows the donut “Besides don’t you like another girl anyways”

Alec: “Yeah…but she probably hates me too” He sighs and bangs his head on the table “I’m so alone”

Sam: “You got me” He perks up as he stuffs another donut into his mouth

Alec: “yay” He puts his fingers up swirls them around

  (Just then a loud crash his heard from outside. People start screaming has loud bang are heard. A few people run into the donut shop)

  TownsFolkMale1: “Holy Cow! Guys you gotta get outta here some monster is attacking the town”

Amber: “Oh no!”

Sam: He whispers to Alec “Hey dude it’s your time to shine lets go show that monster who’s the boss around here!”

Alec: “Go on without me. Leave me here to…die!”

Sam: He gets out of the booth and walks over to Alec and smacks him in the head. “Stop being lame man! It’s MONDAY MORNING DONUT DAY! You gonna let some hot chick and a monster destroy the greatest tradition since…I don’t know anything that beats this well Christmas is pretty nice…Frack what am I doing!” He pulls on Alec “Get up bro! I can’t do it on my own”

  (Outside the monster gets closer to the donut shop. Everyone runs out of the donut shop. The monster smashes a hole into the donut shop and begins eating the donuts)

  Sam: “Aw Hell naw! Not my donuts!” He rubs the top of his hat and a swords pops out “I’ll kill you!” He runs towards the monster. He runs outside and begins hacking away at the monsters legs. The monster screams and kicks him through the window. “Uh…frack…Alec help!”

  (Just then the monster takes his tentacles and grabs Amber who was hiding behind the counter.)

  Amber: “Help me!” She screams as the monster picks her up

Alec: He snaps out of his depression and pulls the coal from his pocket. “Pitfall!”

Pitfall: “Yeah baby?”

Alec: “I need my AX!”

Pitfall: “Coming right up!” A portal opens up and a might ax pops out of the portal “Remember to always bring, your gear baby. You never know when a wacked out monster is gonna start attacking!”

Alec: “Thanks pit!” Alec grabs his Ax and charges towards the monster “No one hurts my friend and no one hurts my LADY!” He jumps up and cuts the monster’s tentacle off. He grabs Amber and lands back on the ground “Stay here Sam and I got this guy!”

Sam: He stands up “That’s the stuff bro! Let’s do this monster in!”

  (Alec and Sam charge the monster. Their swords begin to glow as they run towards the beast.)

  Alec and Sam: “Time to die! Take our combined attack! DON’T FRACK WITH MONDAY MORNING DONUT DAY JACKHOLE!” The jump and cut the monster in half.

  (They land back on the ground as the monster turns into dust. People begin cheering. Amber comes over to Alec and gives him a kiss on the cheek. He blushes as the town’s folk pick Sam and him up.)

  Sam: “See bro it all worked out!”

Alec: “Yeah I guess so” The coal in Alec’s pocket begins to glow “Pitfall what’s up?”

Pitfall: “Looks like you guys are needed somewhere else King LittleRock is calling it in baby.”

Sam: “Well we are needed elsewhere guys!”

TownsfolkFemale1: “Thank you for saving us!”

Alec: “No problem.” Alec throws the coal into the air a portal opens up and sucks them into the portal
