so basically, Cozy Glow is taken under Apple family's guardianship (she's an orphan since her parents were negligent/lowkey abusive) so Applebloom can watch over her and teach her proper friendship

Cozy thinks it's lame but gives it a go because otherwise she'll get worse consequences than just some teachings from a farmgirl

Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle are only halfly on board with this idea but Applebloom knows she can change her ("dw i can fix her")

After some time, Cozy acknowledges that it's not that she wants power- she wants attention and care

which also comes with it's own can of worms, because Cozy figures she's probably unlovable with everything she done

and so her emo arc begins
