TOO MUCH?

I've cut out a lot of stupid shit from my portrayal + kept things they act like never happened. Krakoa has TRAUMATIZED him to the point he's developed Cotard's and worsened his chronic illnesses to the point he's having to shut off his pain signals just to be a hero when he doesn't have the energy to get out of bed. THE BIGGEST TRIGGER ON THIS ACCOUNT IS SUICIDAL IDEATION + FOLLOWING THROUGH. A GOOD 20 - 30 OF THOSE NEVER SHOWN KRAKOA DEATHS WERE SUICIDES TO GET A BREAK + BE BENCHED FROM THE CYCLE OF EXPLOITATION LAMBING TO THE SLAUGHTER. Krakoa has ruined him completely and is where my canon divergence starts. The entire relationshit (keeping this typo because it sums it up) with the cuckoos dies on krakoa when his giving a fuck about them is met with malice bullying and tearing him down before he dies for a girl that thought he was too much for wanting a life with her someday. OLD MAN OMEGA DOESN'T HAPPEN HERE. 1. it's fucking gross to put an 80+ year old back in a 20+ year old body 2. the only thing i'm keeping permanently is cerebrax but they're best friends and obsessed with eachother. He gives all his resurrection protocols to someone he trusts not to use him over and over and stays dead until he's absolutely needed again. He's rewritten his body requests to be closer how he looked before the kick addiction and made it so people look at him and see what they want to see / how they know him. This doesn't work on only a handful of people. The rest get Punk Quire. AFTER A LOT OF THINKING AND PLOTTING I HAVE DECIDED TO SINGLE SHIP. I can't see endgame being anyone else. And considering his only canon healthy relationship was Idie and look how that turned out. Someone that makes him feel safe and that loves him back? B E A U T I F U L. This doesn't mean I won't explore past relationships as long as you know they aren't his always. I COMPLETELY IGNORE SOME CANON (why did they try to put him with rogue the fuck was that? Why is he flirting with Jean + mini Jean why are they making him so gross) Since they're drawing him like he's 12 again in recent appearances + my canon divergence any interactions with the scott era team are obviously canon divergent and plot heavy. The only good thing I've seen of that run is Quen losing his fucking mind over the only friend that's stuck around that sort of hates him but knows him so completely he goes nuclear when he's hurt. A LOT OF HIS RELATIONSHIPS ARE CANONICALLY TOXIC. HE TRUSTS LOGAN BUT THEY'VE BOTH DONE REALLY AWFUL SHIT TO EACH OTHER IN COMICS. His relationship with Hank who he views as another father figure is so damaged after krakoa he can't handle being in the same room as him most of the time. If you don't like my portrayal of how he views certain muses that have been mutually shitty to each other I'm not going to sugar coat anything. The cuckoos have ruined him, and he's quite literally both caused a death and died for them. the majority of people he interacts with in canon treat him like shit even his best friend Glob says shit that breaks him. If you've ever been reduced to a shell of a person he's very much a go silent see if anyone gives a fuck blend in when he's too tired to fucking bother kind of guy. Him being terrified of Sabretooth + having Cassandra Nova playing around in his brain is still a thing. MORE TO BE ADDED AS IT COMES UP.
