Koshek Jardine is a dark+ghost type Pokemon trainer and has stated that he likes Pokemon more than people. Currently, Koshek has a Mimikyu named Mimi, due to a lack of creativity. He's shared that his original world was dangerous, one threat being Team Orchid, an eco-terrorist group.

Koshek originates from an alternate version of Galar, created for the cancelled game Gangs of Galar. He has a little sister named Emery. His mother was a seamstress, and his father was an auto mechanic; they lived in a place called Grave's End, which has a large population of ghost pokemon. Koshek has a history of violent somnambulism. When Koshek was 14, his family kicked him out of the house after a sleepwalking incident led to him almost fatally wounding his sister.

A Hypno named Vatino puppeteered Koshek in his sleep, acting with sinister intentions to gain more power. After Vatino was killed, the strings were cut.
