Weirdly, Kat had had a decent week. A busy week, but with the busyness came a peace of mind that she could actually get something done. Whether that meant studying for hours at a time, reading about Azkaban for at least an hour while taking notes, or snogging her boyfriend when she’s supposed to be doing prefect rounds (oops?); it was something to keep her mind at ease. “Did you seriously call me ‘Boss Lady’?” the Prefect asks questionable, looking at Curly while she makes finger quotes at the name ‘Boss Lady’. But eventually, Kat shrugs and says calmly, “I guess it’s better than OCD.” and like she doesn’t have a care in the world, she takes off her shoes and gets her wand from her pocket. A smile etches on her face, then, “Class is in secession.”

“That, I did.” Jude informs her with a hard nod. He didn’t get why she was complaining. As she said moments before he had a chance to speak, it was much better than OCD. And once he thought it over, he needed to come up with something clever to call Alaska, since she, Kat, and Jim Jams were the people he shouldn’t be arseholes to. He looks at the older Ravenclaw with confusion when she takes off her shoes.” Woah, the text book says nothing about stripping in order to perform a Patronus!” his voice his shaky like a five year old, even tho he is mucking about. His hands are out, and when he notices her smile, he rolls his eyes and gets out his wand. “You sure you know what you’re doing? You’re not fucking with me, right? This isn’t third year Kat behavior where you called me Juno and pushed me in the lake for shits and giggles? You are actually going to teach me to go all psycho on a mofo…”

Taking a moment to think, Kat looks up at the tower. Her gaze then swiftly goes back to looking at Ryan. “Don’t- do that. Like ever again,” and then she was laughing. How could she not with that accent? “Coffee, tea, and me…see, best things in life.” The girl pauses, smirking. “I’m joking of course. Let’s go to a cafe.” She nods, following him as she runs through Paris holding her hand. “Again. Joking.” Kat threw a wink in his direction. 

Ryan stuck his tongue out at her as they strolled back to the cafe they had passed on the way to the tower, and Ryan brushed his thumb over the back of her hand. “No, you’re right. Except maybe oxygen instead of tea.” He made a face as they approached the cafe, and Ryan slid into one of the tables outside, stretching back in the chair as a tired-looking waitress brought them menus. “Breakfast’s on me,” he said with a mirrored wink at Kat. 

Actions said a lot more than words to kat. The simple fact that Ryan brushed her hand with his thumb, actually told her a lot more than any words could have. "I actually prefer tea to coffee. Tea revives you, you know? But then again, coffee is a beverage that was once worshipped...so, eh..." Her head swerved at the 'eh' bit of the conversation. Having noticed that they reached the well decored cafe, Kat found herself taking a seat. She was happy that he was paying for breakfast. She had left her money in the luggage and it wasn't muggle currency in the first place. With a vibrant smile, Katarina thanks the waitress and hides herself behind her menu a moment, a fury of thoughts skipping through her mind like birds going over the heads of cartoon characters. In no time at, she's laughing once again."I don't understand any of this," she giggled, menu still covering her face. There was only a bit of French that Kat had learned from Caroline, but sadly, she hadn't taken the time to learn or read or write the language.

Kat felt like she was in Honeydukes every time she was around Ryan. He was right, fuck Paris. Them being together was really all they needed. Well. They needed to finish school, get jobs, and all of the other thinks people wanted from life, but the whole being together thing made it all sound bearable. “Anywhere?” she teased, her pearly whites showing. “Even the circus.” Kat releases a laugh. “How about we go somewhere for breakfast? I’m a breakfast person, if you didn’t know. So, if I don’t start my day off with some type of food I’m enormously bitchy for the entire evening.”

Ryan bowed low. “Anything you wish, my dear,” he said with a thick (bad) French accent before taking her hand. “I say we head for that cafe. Because I smelled coffee and coffee is always good,” he said thoughtfully, as he started to wander back in the direction of the sidestreets, tugging gently at Kat to follow. His stomach didn’t twist in knots at the thought of food, or anixety grab hold of him at the thought of being outside eating and ordering and talking to people. As long as he was with Kat, he felt okay, good, normal. He smiled at her once they were walking at the same pace. “And what would we do in the circus?” he asked.

Tired? Hungry?” He smiled. “Maybe I didn’t mean it when I said I could stay here forever. There’s too much more to see,” he chuckled. “Too much to do, so little time. Unless you want to drop out of school and stay with me here?” he joked, leaning forward to kiss her cheek.

She stood up when Ryan offered her his hand. His hand to stand up, of course. A smile spreading along her face while she thinks of something to say at 3:30 in the morning. For a while, the only thing she hears is the wind and the silent chatters of people a distance away. There’s a second where it’s so silent that she even thinks she can hear Ryan’s breathing—“I THINK I’M IN LOVE WITH A ROMANTIC IDIOT!” She screams, unsure why she said that of all things. The terms ‘idiot’ or ‘stupid’ make things easier to say. “OH! AND WE ARE COMING FOR YOU RIVER SPARROW! I PROMISE FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART-” she pauses. “ALSO VIVE LA FRANCE!” With a grin on her face she twirls  in nighty then curtsies. 

Ryan threw his head back and laughed at her. “That’s more like it! FUCK YOU FRANCE, I’M IN LOVE,” he yelled, pulling Kat into a rib-crushing hug. He didn’t kiss, her, though, instead he jumped off the table and ran down the feild until the Tower was almost directly above him, and fell into the grass, laying on his back and lifting his arms up into the air to trace along the outline of the monument. “I could stay here forever,” he noted with a satisfied sigh when he heard Kat come up behind him.

Kat gave out a playful laugh, resting her head upon his shoulder. Thankfully he was around her height, because this might not have worked so well. His warmth was welcoming and she was slight annoyed when he up and ran off, leaving her to chase after him in her heels. But who cares, playing quidditch made things like running in heels rather easy. "We should move to France after Hogwarts," she nearly whispers, while she joins him in disgusting grass before her. Any person who had her lying in grass beside them, obviously meant a lot to her. "I could totally live with that." Her hand ran through his hair, before she sat up and took in the tower before her. She had stupidly left her camera in her luggage, so again, she take a mental note.
