“Yes. Because breakfast is good for you. Tasty and nutritious. You can’t go on an exploration for a missing journal on an empty stomach. Plus, bacon is delicious,” Billy nodded in declaration, steering Kat through the open doors of the great hall which was only a quarter full, the tables heaving with the weight of the food on top of them. Slipping at the end of the closest table, and not caring if it wasn’t Slytherin or Ravenclaw, or if it was. “Wouldn’t see why you’d want to catch worms any way. They’re gross,” Billy grinned, laughing at his own joke as he started piling food up onto his plate. “Yea, most days sure. Because the school coffee taste like piss, so it’s not much loss, really. Although why you were running down a hall which led to kitchens and the Hufflepuff commons to find your journal I’ll never know.”

Her nose crinkled at the mention of bacon. Breakfast was the most important meal of the day. Her favorite meal of the day. But with her needing to get back in shape and add on a few pounds of muscle— she knew that she wouldn’t be able to. “Bacon is delicious, but I can’t eat the stuff. I’m going to have to stick with the oatmeal and orange juice, today.” She follows him over the random table, taking a seat. Her first reaction is to use her plate and put all the basic necessity’s on it, from oatmeals to strawberries to eggs with ketchup, and a bagel. “That’s not the point. It’s a figure of speech. I, of all people, would not wish to get their hands dirty with worms.” The mere thought made her frown, then smile again as she took a bite of her eggs. The tables weren’t full yet, so she could ramble all she wanted. “Do I want to know how you know what piss tastes like? Ew, never mind. Anywho, that Gia girl compared it to slops, once. ” She nods, thoughtfully. “I’m looking everywhere. I have River and I’s shag list on there— the one with the ratings. Then my diary entries, which, again make me look like a romantic twat when I talk about Ryan and how giddy he makes me feel. Then there are secrets friends have told me. Plus class notes. Gossip I’ve heard. Who I wanted to hex. A list of people I despise….My existence.” Kat huffs, taking a swig of orange juice. In the wrong hands it would end her, pretty much. “Did you and Griffin see each other frequently during holiday?” 

Billy's own nose crinkled at her mention of what she was going to have for breakfast. He had rated oatmeal once in his life and had ending spitting it right back into the kitchen sink before going out and getting breakfast from the small cafe near his house. Once his plate was piled with food - well bacon, toast, spaghetti and hash browns - he started to eat, amused by the comparison of his plate and his best friends. It kinda represented their friendship, in a way. They were absolutely polar opposites but could somehow get along and understand each other like three peas in a pod. "I don't know what piss tastes like, Kat. That's also a figure of speech. Although not as poetic or anything," the Australian grinned, slurping up some spaghetti. Arching his brow, Billy had to stop himself from laughing. "You and River have a shag list? And you rate people. That's a little shallow," he frowned, knowing lot's of the guys around Hogwarts had the self-esteem of a 13 year old girl. "Yea, maybe it is best if we found that," he nodded before smiling. "Oh, uh, not really. Once or twice. I was back home most of the time, and he was in New York so. We went away for a weekend in the middle, though, which was nice."
