Confused and de-facto planning characterizes the existing fabric of Los Angeles' Exposition Park. Formerly an agricultural park, Expo Park has now become a drosscape of parking and decrepid structures, including its relic, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. This master plan calls for a redevelopment and reorganization that creates a more succinct and clear hierarchy of program and structure. The Coliseum is put at the forefront of the modifications and inspire an "all roads lead to Rome" idea.

This aeriel diagram explains how the bermed landscape becomes the stadiums seating bowl on the club, suite, and upper concourse levels.

The driving design behind the site plan is a bermed entryway that blurs the distinction between stadium and landscape, such that the two become one. The West endzone itself is the berm, creating three distinct terraces that look back towards the preserved peristyle.

This image shows the split nature of the concourses within the stadium proposal. A network of bridges connect the two concourses at several locations to create an atrium that penentates through all three club levels.

The Peristyle and the East Endzone are the two preserved relics of from the existing LA Coliseum. The East Endzone now becomes the new student section as pictured.

This sections explains the structuctural strategies of the stadium and how they integrate into the techtonics of the concourse layout. It further shows the connective nature between the split concourse and the bridge extensions outward from the stadium.
