Shay: stood in front of her mirror, nervously biting on her lip and debating on if she should change her outfit for the third time. She had finally decided on a red button up dress that Serinda helped her pick out after texting her a million times. She had finally started to get over the pain of her last awful heartbreak and it was really scary to put herself out there again, but she did really like Jon, despite the ten year age gap. Plus, it didn't hurt that he was ridiculously handsome. After touching up her lipstick, she heard a knock at the door. Grabbing her purse, she walked over to it, took a breath, and opened it. "Hello there," she smiled.
Jon: gave a quick run of his hand down the front of his shirt, it had been a while since he did the whole date thing so he was a little nervous. He really liked Shay and he was looking forward to seeing where all this was going to lead, he just hoped that their gap wouldn't get in the way. When she opened the door he gave a smile, "Hey there." He stated before he gave her a quick once over before he was holding out his arm to her, "You look amazing by the way."
