To him, she was admirably peculiar. She’d probably be nothing short of unique, if not for his endless wandering since the 1200s. He had no reason to choose her for this. Nevertheless, all those emotions he’d silently curse himself for possessing were conveniently absent, save for the spreading burn of vengeance.

             Joohui only laughs at his words. She had two fingers hoisting up an empty glass, completely unaware that she had finished her drink already and proceeds to bring it closer to her lips. Despite considering herself as a flawless, god-given grace to the beings on earth, Joohui knows there’s a few tweaks to fix and that includes her lack of awareness. Casually so, she brings the glass down as if nothing happened.

Jongin’s shoulders roll, faint smile lingering as his company speaks.

             It’s funny how his features fall into Joohui’s perception of ‘sophisticated’ and yet the words that left his lips were nowhere near that category. She’s kept her eyes on him long enough to be rendered awestruck, but it was the way he approached her ridiculous question by tying it to realistic situations that had her smiling.

Knitting his brows, he was now curious as to whether he watched the anime or if it was just parts of the film instead. It was in fact quite a few years ago when he found it due to many people on the internet talking about it so very little was released on it. Searching through Google, he found the OVA regardless and decided to just settle for that as he clicked the link and let the page load up.

The toughest part of letting go is realizing that the other person already did.
