âI know youâve been gone for a while but I am twenty-six years old. Iâm not exactly a child anymore and yeah, I might not be the luckiest of momâs kids but ya know, I donât think itâs terrible that I have a child.â Not that he minded her opinion too much. Everyone seemed to have the same one when it came up that he was now a father. Sam had the same reaction when he slipped up before Oliver was born. Carefully handing his son to his sister, Warren couldnât help but grin at the sight. His sister, who he didnât think heâd see again anytime soon, holding his son. Juliette was one of the people that Warren held in the highest regards and he didnât realize how upset he had been at the idea that his sister wouldnât meet his child. He didnât have to worry about it now. âHe is rather dramatic, our dear old dad. He has been relentless on pictures of Oliver since he was born.â
âOh, itâs not a terrible thing at all! No, thatâs not what I meant at all! I mean, babies are miracles wherever they come from. Just ignore me.â Juliette waved him off with one of her hands as she bounced the small child slightly, hearing him start to coo a little in her arms. âHe smells amazing, Warren. Like... that baby smell is just wonderful, isnât it?â She brought her eyes back up to look at him, the smile having not faltered since sheâd had her nephew placed in her arms. âI bet he is! Heâs always wanted to have hundreds of grandchildren, you know this.â She laughed a little, pulling a funny face at the baby. âYes, your grandad is a crazy one! Good luck growing up with us as a family, liltte dude.â
