divided we stand together we fall

the fact that sebastian vettel publicly admitted that he’ll vote the green party for this years parliament elections is such a big deal. voting in germany is treated as something very sacred and you normally never ask someone who they are voting for unless you’re close with them. so for seb to be so open and honest about his vote and to speak out about environmental issues in the sport and in our society on a daily basis is sO huge! there is already tons of backlash roaming around twitter on his decision, especially from the rich and famous as they call him a 'hypocrite', but damn have you ever met sebastian vettel? this man couldn’t give two shits about your uneducated opinion. so what he’s living in switzerland and drives in a fast car? that's his job. at least he’s one of the few people who looks at the sport critically and is constantly talking about ways to improve his personal carbon footprint. i’m honestly so proud of him for being honest and unapologetic about this. we don't deserve him.

The hate he's getting on twitter is making me furious. My body hurts because i am so tired of reading the same shit over and over and over again. "He wants to be environmentally friendly but hes driving a car...he drove a speedboat X years ago!" Dude. This stuff starts with every small step. Every thing you can do is a good fucking thing. My dad is always saying the same thing “You can only vote for them if you’re rich”. I can read this on twitter as well. I’m not deep in politics and honest to good, everyone is a hypocrite in politics these days. You can apply everything you say about the green party to every other party. They all lie. They all do not “deliver” what they promise. SURPRISE! It sucks, i know. Thats not even my point. It’s not even particularly about Sebastian.
